About this property

Inside the flat :
All flats are composed of a large room equipped with a kitchen, one or several separate rooms and a private bathroom. You will find a large wardrobe and an ironing board. Bed linen is included in the price.
In the full equipped kitchen, you will find all you need to prepare your meals in full autonomy (oven, extractor hood, cooking hobs, dishwasher, fridge, espresso coffee maker, microwave, crockery).
A convertible couch is available in the living room in order to host an extra person. You will find a TV screen with many channels and radio stations.
The bathroom is equipped with an Italian shower; towels and hair dryer are provided.

Outdoor :
You will get in the residence through a secured access gate and will be able to park your car. A bicycle workshop and space is available so that you can store or fix your bike before your outings.
Electric bike rental is possible for the day (with another service provider). You can start from the residence and head for bike paths and forest tracks. Upon availability, you may use our GPS with already mapped trails depending on your activities (trail running, running, mountain biking, hiking, etc…) They all vary in levels of difficulties.
A barbecue area is set outdoor in an all secured and fenced 65 acre park. This is the perfect place for your children to play, enjoy the open space or have lunch.
Located right in the middle of the Alsace Region, at the foot of the Vosges Mountains and close to the lovely wine road, this is the perfect place for people in search of the wild, outdoor sports or also tourists looking for the cultural legacy of the region.
Alsace is famous for its half –timbered houses, its language, its customs, its gastronomy and its deep-rooted traditions. Many cultural events throughout the year make it a genuine place for celebrations.

Its situation, close to Germany and Switzerland is a clear asset.
“L’Echappée Verte” is the starting point of great holidays where you will discover the typical Christmas markets, explore the medieval castles (among which the notorious Château du Haut-Koenigsbourg), relax for a day in Europa Park (elected greatest leisure centre in the world since 2016) or wander along the typical Alsatian villages such as Eguisheim (French favourite village in 2013) or also Kaysersberg (2017).

If you are looking for adventure, this is the perfect location ! You will be able to ride your mountain bike, go trekking, go for a run in the mountain, go paragliding… in the wintertime you can practice downhill or Nordic skiing, and snowshoeing.

Très bon séjour

Logement décoré avec goût et classe, très propre. Un grand terrain est à disposition avec une jolie rivière. Hôte réactif.

Propre et bien situé mais quelques équipements manquant

Appartement beau et très propre, accueil chaleureux, néanmoins plusieurs points négatif à déplorer : le manque de couverts, d'équipements de cuisine comme un tire bouchon ou un simple plat à tarte ( autre plat à mettre au four ou même une passoire) et un seul torchon de vaisselle. Aucun sac poubelle de rechange présent et d'ailleurs celle ci n'a pas été vidé avant notre arrivée. Le manque de serviettes de bain également (2 serviettes pour 3 personnes) et un tapis de douche. Quand au jardin qui nous à été précisé deux fois comme parfaitement clôturé et sécurisé ne l'était au final pas, en tout cas absolument pas pour y lâché un chien en toute sécurité, ce qui à été fort décevant car ce logement à été particulièrement loué pour cet avantage.

I’ve always been fascinated by sport and outdoor activities. I come from this beautiful valley we call the Silver Glen, (le Val D’argent). Because I love industrial architecture, I bought the building and the park in 2013. I used to work as a salesman but since the birth of my daughter, I’ve had this need to focus on more essential things and start a new challenge. Thanks to my father and local craftsmen, we have in the past months given life to the ancient building, creating unique apartments.
Based on the available spaces and the desires of the moment, each flat possesses its own identity. I’m determined to make this ancient silver and textile industry valley live again, bringing to life new activities respectful of the people and the environment.
I’m aware that I’m lucky man to live in such a green space and I will be delighted to advise you and share my passion for my native country. I hope you will enjoy your stay at the Echappée verte.
