Nice house
It is a cosy little house. It is awkward for tall people, though. In the Byre, the shower height was really too low. In the house itself be careful that you bend over in time. The house was clean and in terms of stuff enough present, nice also with washer and dryer. The dishwasher did not really work well. Nice to watch the film Loch Ness monster. Is in the house. Good base for Loch Ness and Inverness. Cosy centre with restaurants. Unfortunately no bakery nearby, but there is a supermarket.

A Cozy & Beautiful Home - a wonderful place to stay
I rented this property for part of our trip from the US to Scotland. We stayed in some nice places over ten days but Dunollie house was BY FAR the best! This home is really lovely. It is historic in character, well-located, and impeccably decorated. It is VERY comfortable and the second suite—what used to be a cow barn long ago—is private and luxurious (and great for family and friends who may want some privacy during a stay). The grounds are far larger than those of neighboring houses and they are well-tended; this affords opportunities to sit outside and enjoy the natural surroundings. The house is a short drive to great restaurants, the castle, the loch, and only 20-25 minutes to Inverness. If anything, the pictures on the website don’t do this place justice. I would have loved to stay here longer just to rest and relax in so lovely a home.
