About this property

Villa Elias is a modern house with outdoor pool and large garden with 100 Olive trees. There are numerous plants and palm trees surrounding the pool. Patio areas front and back. Both shaded and well furnished. The center of the house features a very large living area with Tv and couch area. Dining table nearer to the kitchen which is accessed by open archway. Two bedrooms in the main house whilst the third is accessed from the courtyard. This affords privacy and has its own en-suite. At one end of the house is Bedroom 1. It is a three room wing. The bedroom itself is large and bright with lots of closet space, chest of drawers, bedside lockers etc. There is a central room in this wing, same size as bedroom and can accommodate two adults or children if required. There is a utility room here with washing machine etc. and the large bathroom with bath, double sink and large shower is modern and spacious.
Bedroom 2 within the main house has closets and bedside lockers. Again it is bright and enjoys views of the garden. There is a toilet with sink adjacent to this room.
Bedroom 3 As mentioned above there is a courtyard entrance to this room with its own ensuite. Fully equipped and looking out on garden area.
This courtyard is furnished and faces south. The sun rises over Mt Dikaios and it is perfect for breakfast time. By mid-morning the sun begins to favor the pool side and the patio there with its roof shade is ideal for those wishing shade and to keep an eye on the kids in the pool. From this patio the views of the sea and surrounding islands are always breathtaking.
An addition to the Villa this summer was a Yurt. It can be seen in the photos section. It has been a huge success with guests, from teenagers to couples to family units as it can sleep four.
The secluded aspect of this Villa and the privacy it affords cannot be underestimated. The environs of the grounds are not visible to anyone outside the property. It truly can be described as the getaway holiday. And yet all the places you will want to visit are close by car.

Amazing villa in beautiful location

A well equipped, spacious and comfortable villa with beautiful grounds ( including a yurt!) and a fantastic pool. Philip our host couldn’t have been more accommodating and really went above and beyond to make our trip enjoyable. You probably need a car here but would have been happy spending days by the pool - in all the lounging places, a stunning view and the beautiful Zia town in walkable distance. Loads of walks to do and even a nature reserve. The near and far beaches we visited were all stunning too. Granny’s house great for meze too! There were even chickens wandering about the villa gardens too!

Beautiful villa, pool and grounds and a perfect host!!

Beautiful villa, grounds, pool and amazing views, you really feel like you've escaped from everything yet it was also close to Zia only a five minute drive away where there are beautiful restaurants and shops and also stunning sunsets. Philip (the owner) picked us up from the airport and took us to the villa where by we had a home cooked meal (Moussaka) waiting for us which was delicious! He filled all the cupboards with food and supplies which was fantastic as we didn't need to go shopping for days!! He made us feel so welcome and he was close by as he only lived in Zia if we did need anything . Nothing was to much he loved and aimed to please he also took us all out for a meal and we also had another home cooked meal made for us later on in the week which was delicious! My husband, daughter and I have rented many villas together and we have never experienced this type of hospitality!! We also hired a car which Philip helped my husband to do, to explore the island which was stunning! We would highly recommend this villa to everyone as it has everything and more to offer! Thank you Philip

Prachtige en zorgeloze vakantie

We zijn samen met onze twee kinderen voor twee weken hier geweest. Het huis is prachtig met veel ruimte en verschillende terrassen. Het huis is rustig gelegen, omringd met olijfbomen en heeft een prachtig zwembad. Vanuit het terras aan het zwembad is er een adembenemend uitzicht over de zee en zon ondergang. Het huis heeft een onbeperkt internet (wifi) met goede verbinding waar vooral kinderen erg blij mee zijn. Het huis is centraal gelegen; 5 minuten rijden aar het gezellige dorp Zia, 20 minuten naar Kos stad, 20 minuten naar het vliegveld en slechts 10 minuten naar de verschillende stranden zoals Tigaki/ Marmari. De gastheer Philip is een gezellige gastheer die alles regelt. We raden iedereen aan die een rustige vakantie in Kos wil met veel privacy en toch met mogelijkheid veel te doen zeker naar Villa Elia te gaan. Wij danken Philip voor alles en voor de gezelligheid. We zijn van plan om volgend jaar weer naar Villa Elia te gaan. Familie Timur

Philip der Vermieter ist TOP!

Die Lage und Standort des Hauses ist einmalig. Philip kümmert sich sofort um alles, wenn mal etwas hackt. Er hat zwei von unsere Gruppe zum Flughafen gefahren. Er ist so hilfsbereit. Wir hatten einen traumhaften Urlaub und jeden Abend einen wunderschönen Sonnenuntergang. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Das Schlafsofa ist etwas unbequem, daher empfehle ich eine Reise zu 6 Personen.

I am retired and living in Greece for 3 years. I am a yachtmaster and diving instructor and love all things outdoors. I have sailed around many Greek islands looking for somewhere to settle. When I arrived in Kos last year I knew instantly it was the island for me. It is a wonderful, friendly place. Amazing scenery and with the tall mountain of Dikaios it gets plenty of rain off-season, hence the lush nature of the area where the villa nestles. I have always been sporty and can offer guests many tours and hikes through the ancient villages on the slopes of Dikaios. I am available and happy to help my guests with any information required and consider it important to provide support when and if required. Your stay in Kos will be a most memorable one. Why they chose this property

It's a large property with absolute privacy. The house is modern and well equipped. The pool is such an addition with lots of sunbathing areas around it. Deckchairs and umbrellas for shade included. The nearest dwelling is over 500m away and the main road beyond that. It is peaceful. The views are fantastic. The olive trees really emphasize the feeling of being in Greece, worlds away from the environment most guests hail from. That's what makes this property special I believe, that you really really feel you've got away from it all.

What makes this property unique

Whilst in a rural setting, the Villa is five minutes by car to the main highway running from Kefalos to Kos town. The central nature of our location means the villa is both twenty minutes from the airport, one way and Kos town the other. The picturesque and famous village of Zia with it's renowned sunset views is 2km into the foothills of Dikaios. Pyli Castle is walking distance from the villa and is a particular favorite with seasoned travelers to Kos. The beaches stretch forever along the north coast, the closest being Tigaki. As we are centrally located, yet five km from the coast, guests can pick a different beach any day. Or even take another 20 min spin over the hill behind Pyli and you reach Kardamena on the south of the island. Who says you cannot have choice:) Kefalos has it's own unique landscape and beaches. and by staying in Villa Elias, you have halved the journey to that magnificent western edge of the island.
