This charming apartment, with spectacular architecture and a romantic terrace, offers all comforts and is equipped with essential appliances to ensure an exceptional stay. The Porto Historic Luxury House is located in the heart of Porto, on Rua do Ferraz, in a 16th-century building. This former chapel has recently been converted into a true luxury accommodation. The chapel is integrated into a historic building with a contemporary interior, in a fusion of comfort and taste, providing guests with a unique experience. The location is very central, a 3-minute walk from Rua das Flores, Aliados, or Clérigos Tower, where you can enjoy many good restaurants, visit shops and markets.

On the ground floor, you'll find the living room, kitchen, and an outdoor terrace. On the first floor, there's a full bathroom and a room with a double bed.

Access to the apartment is automatic and no scheduling is necessary; instructions will be provided a few days before arrival. The chapel is situated in a pedestrian zone, and access is through Rua das Flores or Rua da Vitória. You can also access it from São Bento Station, which is served by metro and train.

The chapel is located on one of the best streets in the historic center of Porto. This street boasts many famous restaurants, cafes, bars, shops, luxury hotels, and other services. It's a very safe and welcoming neighborhood where you can find numerous cafes and restaurants to suit all budgets, allowing you to discover and enjoy Portuguese and international cuisine.

True Porto Experience

If you want to live like the locals, stay here. This cozy apartment is steps from the restaurants and shops of Rua Flores and one of the best Pizzerias around is just 3 doors up. All of the details of our stay were taken care of. Charming!

Porto townhouse

It is exactly like the photos -- very attractive 1 bedroom townhouse. It is 1/2 a block off a street with good restaurants -- the owner made some great recommendations. It is a downhill walk to the Douro River and a steep uphill to some great views. Wear comfortable shoes as there are plenty of hills and cobblestone streets. Try a Portonic -- a great, refreshing local drink! Thanks for a great few days!

Great property in a perfect location

The property was great and in a perfect location to explore Porto both high and low. Yes, as other reviews have said, there is noise when people walk past but you do quickly get used to it. The checkin/access and contacting the agent were seamless. Only suggestion would be to maybe reword the automated emails to be clearer that the access code will be sent at checking in time.

Perfect location; a totally modern apartment in a 16th century chapel.

We chose this rental primarily because of the description and the location. We were not disappointed. Communication with the owner was excellent. The unit was spotless and surprisingly spacious in spite of its small size. The outside patio was a bonus area which we took advantage of. The well equipped kitchen was perfect. Everything worked. Others have commented on street noise. It didn’t bother us at all, but our stay was midweek. There is a spiral staircase, just in case there is an issue with that. Porto is a ideal location for ‘mountain climbers’ so you need to know that. People with mobility issues might have an issue not only with the spiral staircase but also the city of Porto. The spiral staircase was not an issue for me and I’m old! Summary: this historic chapel is simply wonderful.
