Within the beautiful grounds of Netherby Hall, you will find a characterful, 2 bedroom, self-catered apartment furnished to a very high standard. This apartment is fully accessible and has access and amenities for wheelchair users. The first floor provides a modern hallway that leads through to a stairway and lift that will take you up to the first floor where you will find a spacious open plan living room, well equipped kitchen, a Bio Mass remote control pellet fuel fire feature as well as a bedroom with 5’ king size zip and link bed and an en-suite wet room! There is another bedroom located on the ground floor with a full en-suite and 4’6 double bed.
The history of Netherby Hall dates back to Roman times, and parts of the grand house may even have been built using stones from a Roman fort. Beautifully decorated, the Independent apartment is thoroughly modern, with plenty of touches of 21st century luxury.
The apartment sits in 36 acres of parkland, where you can stroll across manicured lawns, enjoy a Victorian pleasure garden and walk through a walled garden that stretches for over an acre. The estate is nestled in north Cumbria, with spectacular views over the undulating landscape to the Scottish hills beyond. CCTV covers the grounds of Netherby Hall for security reasons.
We are happy to accept dogs at a minimal charge, we just need to be notified in advance of arrival.
