About this property

Pleased to offer you our 100+ year old townhouse, in the ♥️ of Hinojares.

Self catering accommodation that offers up to 3 comfortable, spacious bedrooms with a full bathroom (shower 🚿 over bath 🛁) on the 1st floor.
On the ground floor you have access to a full, recently renovated, kitchen with dining area, and a living room with 2 large, comfortable, sofas.
The new dining room is also an ideal space for online working
Many original features remain though 😊

Our base price is for all 3 bedrooms and a maximum of 5 people.

** We keep our prices competitive by only opening up the number of bedrooms actually required.

Situated on the southern edge of the Parque Natural Sierra de Cazorla, part of the largest protected area in Spain, we are surrounded by many historical sites/tourist 'must do/sees'

About the host

Hosted by Liz Rooker

The property has been owned by my husband, Martin, since 2003, but we moved here permanently in 2015. Turning over the middle floor to guests in 2016 as a Bed & Breakfast. Since April 2022, moved to whole house holiday accommodation.
We have both led a varied life, so please, feel free to ask if you'd like to know more :-)

Why they chose this property

Our 100+ year old townhouse has all the modern features you are looking for, but it maintains its charm with exposed wooden beams and log burning fire (in colder months).
It has cave-like properties, meaning that it is nice and cool in the summer.

What makes this property unique

Ideal location for peace and quiet, but also perfect for sightseeing.
We have two beautiful embalses (reservoirs/lakes) nearby, great for swimming, kayaking and fishing.
Surrounded by mountains, there are plenty of walking, cycling or motorbiking opportunities.
Baeza and Úbeda, both UNESCO World Heritage sites are only 1 hours drive away. Even Granada, with the Alhambra Palace, Cathedral etc., is only a 90 minute drive.

Closer to home there are the Cuveas del Agua, Castril and its Gorge Walk and Baza which is steeped in history
