Make some memories at this unique and luxury traditional Mongolian Yurt. Yurt o dan y coed (Yurt under the trees) offered to you by Crookedfingerescapes.
Welcome to our amazing (sleeps up to 4) Yurt complete with your very own Lay-z-spa hot tub and secure outdoor garden area. Located equidistant between Pwhelli and Criccieth on the Llyn Peninsula (Crooked Finger) and within a short walk to Afon Wen beach or Abererch Sands. Amazing walks, pristine beaches, restaurants and much more await.

The space
A large open plan space which is suitable for all year round enjoyment. For your comfort the Yurt is heated via a wood burning stove is fully insulated so will be perfect for that well deserved get away at any time of the year. Our Yurt is very light and captures the sun all day as it’s moves from east to west.

Our Yurt makes for a fantastic pet-friendly stay for a couple or family of four, plus your canine companion (Maximum 2), who are looking to embark on their next North Wales adventure. Step into the property, where you will find a beautiful interior. Outside (in a separate wood cabin) you will also find a basic kitchen with all you need, including crockery, cutlery, a Kettle, toaster, microwave and fridge/freezer. There is also a walk in shower cubicle and WC (no composting required). Settle down at the dining table to savour a delicious meal as you make plans for the days ahead. If the weather is nice, why not take advantage and dine alfresco out in the private garden, where you can fire up the charcoal barbecue or enjoy a dip in the Lay-Z-Spa hot tub. As the evening draws to a close, retreat inside to the lounge area where you can curl up on the sofa and watch the flames flickering in the wood burning fire and play one of the many games provided. Awake from a leisurely slumber and savour a steaming cup of Nespresso coffee on the terrace as you take in your peaceful surroundings.

Boasting a fabulous location on Lon Goed, which is a 7 mile long tree lined historical walk and only a 10 minute walk to the nearest beach at Afon Wen. The location truly has everything you could need to enjoy a memorable self-catered stay.

Explore your surroundings, which rest on the scenic Llyn Peninsula (Crooked Finger) offering a plethora of fantastic walks right on your doorstep, where you will find the charming Ty Coch pub in Porthdinllaen, voted one of the top 10 beach bars in the world, which serves tasty meals and local ales, perfect for when you and your guests fancy a night off from cooking. The keen golfers in your party will not want to miss the opportunity to test out their clubs at the excellent Nefyn Golf Club, which features a superb 27-hole championship course. Pack-up your bathing suits, swim trunks, buckets and spades and head straight for one of the many beaches close by, where you can spend the day relaxing on the glorious sands, building sandcastles with the little ones, paddling the shores or sampling fresh fish and chips with the sand between your toes. For the budding historians in your party, Porthmeirion is truly worth a visit. This unique place was created in the style of an Italian village and has served as the location for numerous films and television shows, most famously as ‘The Village” in the 1960’s show The Prisoner.. Just a short drive away is Pwhelli, where you can enjoy leisurely strolls around the picturesque marina, a fun-filled day at Traeth Glan-y-Don or sampling the culinary delights at the good selection of eateries on offer. From here you can easily access the historic Castell Criccieth which overlooks the sea, the superb beaches of Abersoch or the impressive National Trust 16th-century manor house of Plas yn Rhiw.
