About this property

Lily pad pod is a glamping pod situated right on the lake. the communal wetroom and toilet is situated 60 meters away from the pod along with the parking. please be aware that you will have to carry your fishing gear and belongings from the carpark, vehicles are not allowed on the grass.
we provide bedding. please bring your own towels and toiletries, etc.
there is no sink or water in the pod, there is a tap at the side of the communal wetroom. please bring your water containers, or alternatively, bring your own water.
lily pad pod is the pod on the end.

Ladybird Pod:
This cosy Glamping Pod is situated right on the edge of the lake, boasting a small veranda which leads onto the edge of the lake to simply relax soaking in the peaceful surroundings, with your favourite drink in hand!
To the right you have your own personal large jetti which protrudes into the lake which is designed for fishing from. You may also fish from any of the swims around the lake.
We are not open for day tickets, which makes our site exclusive for pod and cabin guests only.
We are strictly adults only and no pets are allowed.
You’re more than welcome to bring your own comfy chairs, or alternatively we have benches dotted around the lake. You are more than welcome to bring your own bbq (keep away from the pods and the grass please), or alternatively we have a few communal BBQs dotted around the lake (bring charcoal).

Fishing Rules and info:
The fishing is fantastic and the lake is well stocked with carp going up to 36lbs but the largest fish in there is 74 and 86lbs. We have various species in the lake.
No dead rigs allowed, no tigernut bait allowed, no keep nets and please make sure you have sanitized your landing net before arrival. Barbless Hooks.

Superb fishing and beautiful scenery!

The fishing was the highlight as you would expect and with a haul of over 35 carp over a 48 hour session, it is fair to say I’m already booking my return trip! The owner was very polite and friendly, really considerate and couldn’t do enough to support and advise on tactics. Super experience and I will be returning soon!

Amazing stay as always

We stay in the pods twice a year once in the summer and then in winter and we always enjoy it. Everything you could need in one little pod our fave is the lily pad. We catch lots of fish and get the most out of our experience. Would reccomend to anyone wanting to try it out. The little ducks that come and visit throughout the day are adorable. The shower block is always clean. The takeaways we have had from Denny’s are also so good we get one every time. Just the best place to go for a break

We are a site and owners that leave you to it! No onsite shop, self-check-in and out, your cabin neighbours are a good distance away. In saying all of this, we are available 24/7 and on hand 24/7 if you do need any help with anything. Nothing is too much trouble.

This is our retirement project and we enjoy the fact that guests enjoy our spectacular site too!
