Located in the ancient village of Pentraeth, the cottage is a walking distance (5-15mins depending on your pace) to the infamous Red Wharf Bay (also known as Pentraeth beach). A unique tidal beach that is captivating and enchanting place has views of the ancient Pentraeth forest on one side and the infamous Ship Inn and Boat House Restaurant just across the bay (around 30-50 minute walk depending on your pace).

Situated on an old estate once owned by the founder of the WWI, the cottage is the end property on a small row of mews style houses. Distinct in style the cottage combines original 1800’s features and stonewalls with modern comforts and sophisticated design. With charm and style the cottage is designed for relaxing and has everything you'll need to make your stay a memorable one, a true home from home. This unique location is filled with wildlife, including plenty of birds and red squirrels, which can often be spotted hopping along the fence and into the woods to the rear of the property.

Property layout:

The kitchen with a double American fridge leads to the open plan living room with comfortable sofas and an armchair that's perfect for a night by the log fire on one side and study and bathroom to the other. From the living room you can venture upstairs to the double bed that features traditional beams in a striking monochrome style and the room with bunk beds - suitable for all ages and with comfortable adult touches. Back downstairs and following on from the living room past the original stone walls (from when the cottage was originally part of the estate in the 1800s) is the dining room, a large elegant space with a table for six, large windows overlooking the garden and a side table to serve your dinner with panache. Beyond the dining room is a small seating area dubbed the music room, perfect for a quick drink after dinner and complete with a record player and chessboard. With a music theme you’ll find plenty of records and interest artefacts on the walls. The final room is up the last staircase just off the dining room, which will take you to the master bedroom. A comfortable king bed with luxurious bedding and plush rugs that are teamed with a fabulous piece of artwork that overlooks the room.

There is a patio to the side of the property, with a hammock area for guests to use (in the summer).

The front garden is currently having a lawn grown and isn’t useable at the moment but will be soon!

Characterful cottage within a short distance of Red Wharf Bay
A lovely thick stone walled cottage with comfortable beds. We stayed as a group of friends and had plenty of room. The Ship Inn and Old boathouse are both within walking distance and serve good hearty food. I only marked down the cleanliness and check in process because the house had not been cleaned prior to our arrival but this was a mix up by the cleaning company and was sorted out immediately by the property manager so did not spoil our visit at all. I would highly recommend and hope to come back with my family next time to explore beautiful Anglesey further

Perfect Linna Cottage
A beautiful of a cottage, renovated in keeping with the history of the cottage but at the same time it’s certainly cool and quirky with everything you would need for a relaxing break away from life. The beds are so comfy, shower hot and fabulous, little extras like the American style fridge with ice machine , coffee machine, candles, Bose speaker, Netflix, Molten Brown hand wash , bath robes and just lots of personal touches (loved the record player in the music room). We all really all just switched off, peaceful, remote yet easy to get around to all our favourite places in Anglesey. Wish we had booked longer but we’ll definitely book again. Five star cottage. Thanks Chloe and Stuart.

Lovely peaceful weekend
We spent a lovely weekend at this lovely house , initially had a problem with the heating but Stuart the owner got it fixed straight away and we were soon toasty and the wood burner was a lovely feature. Its a lovely characterful cottage in a peaceful area. Great comfy bed, and very well equipped , we would definitely like to stay again.
