Beck Cottage with Shepherds Hut is a stunning 300-year-old thatched cottage located on a private lane with no passing traffic and within an enclosed & secluded plot. The cottage is located in the heart of the pretty village of Woodgreen in Hampshire. The Horse and Groom public house is located a few minutes walk away. A well-stocked village store is also within a 10/15 minute walk offering a full range of locally sourced products. Beck Cottage is a short walk away from the village green and cricket wicket. The New Forest National Park is yours to explore. The Shepherds Hut is the perfect addition so that more family or friends can join you on your trip to this beautiful cottage while still having a comfy bed to sleep in.

This picture perfect New Forest holiday home comprises a lounge with large wood burner and beamed ceiling, 48" plasma TV with Sky TV. Separate dining room with a large table and seating for up to 12. Large kitchen & breakfast room with all the usual appliances to make this a complete home from home experience. Doors lead off to the newly built wooden conservatory. Ground floor double bedroom with adjacent wet room. On the first floor there is a master bedroom with a king size bed and en-suite shower room, one twin bedroom with basin and one double bedroom, a family bathroom and separate toilet. On the second floor, there is a further double bedroom and another twin bedroom with a secret staircase! Beck cottage can comfortably accommodate up to 12 adults with additional fold out beds available for a small fee. In addition there is a games room above the garage with football table and a table tennis table and with a trampoline in the garden. The shepheards hut can be set up as a double bed or twin beds meaning it is perfect for couples or people who would rather their own bed alike. There is an addidtional bathroom that has been added under the games room to allow anyone staying in the Shepherds Hut easy acess to a toilet, sink and shower that they can use throughout their stay.

Travel cot, 2 high chairs and stairgates available on request (but please bring own cot bedding), dogs welcome, fully enclosed mature and charming garden (not secure for small dogs) with patio and barbeque area with garden seating for 12, summer house, shepherds hut that sleeps 2 either in a double or 2 singles available for hire, Garden shower room, children's climbing frame ,private parking for up to 6 cars.

Dogs are welcome to stay here max 3 at £40 per dog fee

There is a 4-6 seat hot tub available from £325 for short breaks and £400 for 7 nights

Stay criteria is based on 7-night stays, long weekends Fri-Mon (3 nights minimum stay) or mid-week breaks Mon-Fri (4 nights minimum stay). First basket of logs free then £7.50 a bag thereafter.

From Salisbury: take the A338 south to Fordingbridge and Ringwood. At Breamore take the road signposted to Woodgreen.
From Ringwood: take the A338 north to Fordingbridge and Salisbury. Take the exit signposted to Woodgreen at Breamore

Nearest train station is Salisbury 10 miles 20 min drive
By Bus
Bus Route is X3 from Ringwood or from Salisbury with stop at Braemore then 15 min walk to Woodgreen on narrow raods.

We can arrange a taxi to pick you up from the train station if you let us know in advance.
