Shops, cafés, and other eateries line the village's bustling main street, which is home to numerous small businesses selling just about anything you might possibly need while on vacation in Yorkshire. Even further afield, Skipton is commonly referred to as the "Gateway to the Dales". 'The Railway Children,' a film from the 1970s, made Keighley, a small town in West Yorkshire, famous for its vintage steam railway. There's also the literary hotspot of Haworth, where you can tour the Brontë sisters' mansion and the surrounding moorland that inspired so many of their classic works.
