Horrible and Scammy Management
So many things wrong (most important one at the bottom):
- Made us wait an hour and a half to meet us for check in even though we had communicated our arrival time and even spoken with Pablo earlier that day and got verbal confirmation on our meeting time. His reason was "my phone died," pretty lackluster care for people who just traveled across the world and then had to wait outside in the heat with their luggage
- No Wifi info provided until 2 nights after the start of our 3 night stay, again pretty important for international travelers
- One set of keys didn't work, so we only had 1 set of keys for 7 people until the second set was provided after 2 nights of our stay
- Dirty dishes
- Shower head spews out of sides of the shower head, so the entire bathroom floor gets wet and gross
- No shampoo, soap, detergent despite being told there would be some there
- Thought we were checking out a day earlier than we were so came and woke us up early in the morning the day before we were meant to check out, was hard to fall back asleep
- Toilet seat detached and toilet flush missing caps
- Microwave did not work
- Lastly, I mentioned all the above issues to Pablo and he said they would give us a discount. (We paid A LOTTTT of money for the place for all these things to go wrong). He collected payment from me (the day before we were supposed to check out) and said he'd come back the next day with a discount. He never did. I called and texted him many times over the next few weeks with no answer. Eventually he did answer and he said he would continue to work on the discount and said he'd call me back the next week. He never did. This series of events continued for months. It is now 4 months since my stay and I have given up and accepted that Pablo and this property management team have fully misled and scammed us out of the discount promised for the misleading stay.
While the shell of the apartment and the location are great, I urge no one to book this stay given the experience we had with the lackluster care and communication as well as being straight up lied to, carrying on for months after my vacation.
