Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy
Misdescribed and lacking routine maintenance
Arrived to find four open sacks of rubbish(wet through) and two wheelie bins outside kitchen door. Rusty metal bench also next to door. Bathroom cleanish, but in need of refurbishment(rust, black mould, soap scum/lime scale round bath tiles and grout), Carpet under eds had not been vacuumed recently ( tissues, hair roller, crumbs??, dust) double glazed unit in bedroom window misty (condensation). Notified Original Cottages immediately. Left within 24 hours. Local property manager (Sally) very unhelpful. We raised an official complaint with O.C., threatening court action. Full refund given within 7 days. Will never rent self-catering again.
