Set just 5 miles from Bridgwater, Goathurst is a traditional village on the edge of the Quantock Hills and has a wonderful pub within walking distance of Andersfield Annexe. Jump in the car to explore further afield with large towns such as Taunton, Somerset’s County Town, just 7 miles away and full of shops, bars and restaurants to entertain you. For a leisurely day out, hop aboard the West Somerset Steam Railway from Bishops Lydeard and explore the countryside and North Somerset Coastline, stopping at Dunster, with its ancient medieval castle, Blue Anchor, Watchet and Minehead. Explore the Quantock Hills with its delightful villages tucked away and fabulous country pubs for a hearty lunch or dinner.
