This nice holiday home in Grimshult is located approx. 11 km from Lidhult in Småland. Grimshult is a nice little village and you live quietly and close to nature.
The house is well equipped with geothermal heat, fiber and chromecast. Firewood is included for the fireplace, but the cost of electricity is calculated at the end of you stay at the price of 5 sek per kwh. You have a large plot and a glazed conservatory where you can sit on chilly evenings. That part of the plot is fenced if you want the dog loose. The fence is 1.10 m. It is possible to order extra service such as bed linen and towels for SEK 175 per person. You can also choose to perform cleaning yourself or order at a cost of 3000 SEK.
The nearest bathing place is Lake Boasjön, which is about 4 km from the house. In Lidhult it is 11 km and here is a nice ICA dealer with a cozy cafe. In Lidhult is also Lake Askaken which is a nice swimming lake.
For a slightly different excursion, a visit to Alpackagården in Kråkshult is recommended! Here you can meet their happy alpacas and there is also a small farm shop with a café and a playground.
There are many nature reserves such as. Årshultsmyren and Hästhultsskogen. You can also visit Hunsberget, which with its 230 m above sea level is Ljungby municipality's highest point and is very beautifully located a bit outside Lidhult.
Sundranäs, which is also a nature reserve, is beautifully situated on a headland in the southern part of Lake Bolmen. Lake Bolmen, which is Sweden's largest lake to the surface, has good fishing. Here are both pikeperch, pike and perch. The lake is located between Småland and Halland, lined with deep quiet forests.
Bolmen is in the national interest for professional fishermen and the area around the lake is in the national interest for outdoor life. There are several islands in the lake, the largest being Bolmsö. You only have a few kilometers to Bolmen and here you can take the opportunity to visit Grandma's Veranda in Torarp. Also Tiraholm Fisk where you can buy smoked fish and visit the fish restaurant and ice cream café. In Singeshult there are flea market weekends and some weekdays and also the opportunity to have a coffee.
In Unnaryd you can eat well at Alebo. Unnaryd which is located by Lake Unnen is also a nice little town. Odensjö, which is also located by Bolmen, is nice and their homestead has nice activities in the summer. It is not far to the sea baths in Tylösand Halmstad. If you want to meet moose, you can visit Smålandet moose safari in Markaryd and Elinge Älgpark south of Hamneda. Ljungby offers shopping and restaurants as well as many museums such as the Fairytale Museum.
