West Lodge was well equipped, warm, homely, and had everything we needed. The walks around the estate were beautiful with unobstructed views. Would recommend the cottage to all our friends and family. Our Australian family revelled in the cottage feel and Matthew and his wife were very friendly and accommodating. Nice to have such attentive hosts.

Balblair Jacuzzi
Location in terms of place was fantastic although the position is directly on the main road to Lairg. With no back door the front of the property is directly open to this as the main gates are left open. It would be great if the owner would consider automatic gates for safety of children and pets. The house is smaller than we expected but the wood fired jacuzzi more than makes up for this, could not keep me out and is easy to operate. The welcome basket with lots of goodies and toiletries were such a nice touch. Arriving to not only essentials such as milk and bread but also champagne was a wonderful start to our break 😊
