Ideally located in a quiet residential area of Chichester, the apartment makes an ideal base whether you are visiting for business or pleasure. Sleeping 6, it has a homely feel and it lends itself to families or two couples.
Our apartment is light, bright and spacious. The lounge has a gas fire place that guests are welcome to use and plenty of comfy seating surrounding the fire. There are plenty of books for guests to read during their stay located in bookshelves in the lounge. Large double doors in the lounge let in lots of natural light and open up onto the shared, walled garden.
The apartment is located on the ground floor and it has one very spacious bedroom with a king size bed and also a single bed. This makes an ideal family room if you are staying with young children.
There is a second bedroom with two other single beds and in the lounge, there is a sofa bed suitable for 1 person.
The bathroom is light and has a bath, toilet and sink. Please note that there is no shower. The kitchen/diner is fully equipped for self catering purposes and has a dining table and chairs looking out to the garden.

Local Area
Ideally located only a few minutes walk from the city centre, it offers easy access to the many shops, bars, restaurants and cafes that Chichester has to offer.
The city walls walk and Chichester cathedral are great if you like to soak up the history of the city. Chichester canal is a 10 minute walk away and from here there are often boat trips on offer or you can take a walk along the canal to Chichester Marina.
If you are visiting for a Theatre show, Chichester Festival Theatre is a short walk away and offers an excellent programme throughout the year.
Chichester boasts many beautiful parks, some of which with play equipment for children. Oaklands Park, Priory Park and Bishops Palace Gardens are all a short walk away and offer stunning views of this historic city.
If you are looking for a place to stay whilst attending a Goodwood event, including Goodwood Festival of Speed, Goodwood Members meeting, Goodwood Revival or Goodwood Horseracing - the apartment is only a 11 minute drive away. There are many taxi companies operating in the area, please do not hesitate to contact us if you need any help in organising this.
A car is not essential with this property as there is a bus and train station in Chichester.
If you are in need of food shopping, petrol or a pharmacy, Tesco Extra is only a short walk away. A short walk away is the village of Parklands. Here, you will find a playpark and playing field, along with a small parade of shops including a co-op, butchers, post office, pharmacy, takeaway pizza and an excellent fish & chip shop. It is also within an easy walk of Chichester college.
Getting there
Please note that the entrance for the property is actually located off of Sherborne Road, rather than on Westgate itself. The apartment is situated in a quiet residential quarter of Chichester. It is just a 2 minute drive to the A27, offering excellent transport links if you are exploring further afield or if you are arriving from Gatwick or Southampton airports.
