About this property

Traditional Highland semi-detached old stone cottage situated on a working farm just outside the town of Golpsie in Sutherland, which lies on the NC500 route. Beautifully presented with great attention to detail.
Rooms are on the ground and first floors. Sleeping up to 4 guests this cosy and pretty cottage would ideally suit a couple or young family. The open plan living area has a wood burning stove, smart TV and wi-fi, while the kitchen has electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and washer/dryer. There are two bedroom, one 5’ double bedroom and one 4’6’’ double bedroom. There is a large walk in shower room with toilet and basin. Parking is outside the cottage beside the garden which has outdoor furniture. Honeysuckle Cottage may also be rented alongside neighbouring Rose Cottage Culmaily.
All bed linen, towels, electricity, wi-fi. Welcome tray with Scottish produce.

Excellent stay in great property

Stayed 4 nights in Honeysuckle Cottage a real home from home! The property was comfortable and spotless with everything we needed for our stay. Just outside Golspie with plenty to do and see. Would highly recommended staying here if you are in the area.

Superb

I stayed here with my daughter to walk a few Munros and enjoy the local area - it was a random find and very glad that I did. I'd have to say that it is the nicest holiday cottage I've ever stayed in. It has been completely renovated to a very high standard, and is very well presented throughout. It has absolutely everything needed, and feels more like staying in a friends house than a soulless rental. The setting of the cottage and the outside space have also been done very well. There's a lovely garden, outside seating and very handy parking. We also saw the owners, who were very pleasant and helpful. Just to be aware, it is a bit of a walk into Golspie, down the A9(!), which I wouldn't want to do in the dark after a few glasses of pop. And, if you fancy fish & chips, download the chippy's app and pre-order - it causes consternation if you just pitch up. I highly recommend this place, and I would love to come back.
