We will be back

Great property on a very pleasant shopping street in Calais. Shopping centre on the doorstep with loads of parking. The apartment itself was superb, with thoughtful items left for us (tea, coffee, Haribos) so we felt really welcome. Rooftop terrace was great. Bathroom was compact but gorgeous.

Late response from host on how to access apartment.

We arrived at 5pm without any instructions and contacted the host by telephone and left message, but no call back. We had not received email; however today my email app indicated that an email had been put in the sent mail folder. Not sure how. Having no help, we gave up and booked a hotel room

Schöne Wohnung für einen Kurzurlaub

Waren zu 5 in der Wohnung. Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt OK. Länger eher ungünstig, da ein Bett im Wohnzimmer. Für 4 Personen perfekt. Ist schön eingerichtet, wenngleich die Küche schon etwas älter ist. Dachterrasse lädt ein zum verweilen. Bis zum Strand leider 25min zu laufen. Die Gegend eher durchschnittlich. Sind allerdings bei relativ schlechtem Wetter dort gewesen, so dass Calais in Summe nicht so attraktiv war.

Séjour entre ville et plage

Super emplacement pour apprécier un séjour en ville comme à la plage. Très bel appartement, de bon goût. Très bonne literie. Le seul bémol reste la série d´escaliers et le manque d´infos générales propres au logement (poubelles, tris,...) L´annonce en ligne manque de précision. Attention si vous êtes une personne avec un handicap physique ou enfant en bas âge. Pas évident avec le double étage. Pour le reste, tout y était ;-) Rien à redire!
