Great Location, Lovely 2 up/ 2 down - needs a few upgrades.
NO A/C❄️ !!! A short walk from Downtown Derby (great city) and adjacent to Darley Park, which provides nice walks to Darley Abbey and cafes/pubs… The 15 Otter Street house was pretty much as expected. BUT Moreso based on the couple of REVIEWS, rather than accurate listing information or proper communication of the host: Simon Smith/ Your SA | Derby & Nottingham hello@yoursa.co.uk yoursa.co.uk Your SA, Derwent Business Centre, Derby, DE1 2BU. We found prior negative reviews a bit petty - there WAS black tape on the decorative entrance floor tiles- some had broken. Fridge laminate needs repair- peeling from being next to the oven. Kitchen counters were fine. Yes the freezer needed defrosting - BUT we were thankful for home in pretty decent shape, clean modern decor in a perfect area. We didn’t mind the “lived in” nature of some of the prior critiques at 15 Otter Street. Parking VERY tight - but we Made it work! HOWEVER THEN CAME THE HEAT! My English husband asked I find a Vrbo with AIR CONDITIONING due to consecutive hot summers spent visiting family. I THOUGHT I DID- the listing clearly states AIR CONDITIONING ❄️ in the AMENITIES. 82’F we could NOT sleep as it was hot FOR NIGHTS. No fans in the home and certainly NO A/C! THAT IS WHEN ALL COMMUNICATION CEASED FROM THE HOST WHO HAD BEEN LOVELY PRIOR TO STAY! Vrbo tried to contact SA and find the A/C but to no avail. Shame as the house provided us with most of what we needed.

Very Disappointing!
On arrival unable to park the narrow street full of cars so once you entered if another car oncoming had to reverse all the way back! The general waste bin overflowing on arrival. Once we were in the house large ? Oil stain on front room carpet the kitchen was very worn worktops all scuffed fridge door damaged and the freezer was so frozen it obviously hadn’t been defrosted for years! Hall floor taped up! The photos online were clearly taken a long time ago when the property was in better order and it has probably been a student rental. Couldn’t sleep as people out partying in the neighbours garden till about 4am!
