Isla's Cottage is a beautiful stone-built fisherman's cottage, situated in the heart of Nairn's Fishertown conservation area. The cottage has been renovated by the current owners to retain many original features while providing modern facilities. The pretty open plan living/dining room has a wood-burning stove set into an original fireplace and double bedroom on the ground floor. A steep spiral staircase leads to a first floor with low, combed ceilings and restricted headroom (please note this is not suitable for anyone taller than 1.8m). Isla's Cottage is ideal for couples or small families seeking a seaside holiday in a Highland seaside resort.
The ground floor: The lounge offers guests two sofas, wood burning stove, a TV, and a nest of tables. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven, hob, washing machine, fridge with freezer compartment, and microwave. There are plenty of pots and pans available. The bedroom is furnished with a king-sized bed, bedside cabinets with reading lamps, a wardrobe, and a chest of drawers. The room also benefits from a patio garden view. The shower room consists of a shower cubicle, wash basin and toilet.
Steep spiral stairs to the first floor: The twin bedroom has 2 single beds, a bedside cabinet with a reading light, and low, combed ceiling so unsuitable for tall adults. Outside the property, there is a patio garden, fully fenced. Picnic table and chairs.
