This Simpson Secret has the spirit of the outdoors, the villa having been designed to maximise views, light and the sight and sound of the sea. From its uncluttered interior, decorated in the blues and greens of the sea and the gardens, handsome terracotta tiles continue straight out on to the terrace with its wonderful views. A barbecue provides the opportunity to cook as well as eat outdoors in this idyllic spot and one of the joys of staying here is that a little path descends to a sand and pebble beach only 30 metres below the terrace. There is an air conditioned double bedroom and an open plan living/dining area with kitchen. Outside, a private swimming pool (4.5x10m) with shaded terrace. The local tavernas and shops are only a 5 minute drive away. Smoking - not allowed. We suggest that before you set off, you acquaint yourselves with the way your odometer works. In most cars it is electronic. To reset most of these models, you need to press the button until the reading flashes for some time and then becomes zero.  Keep in mind that driving in Greece is on the Right side of the road. Please take care driving as there may be wild cattle on the road. The following directions will take you out of Preveza airport and through the tunnel and northwards along the Epiros Coast, towards Parga and Sivota. Please take care driving these roads. Step 1 Drive to the airport exit and turn LEFT. Carry on along this road and through the tunnel. At the beginning of tunnel, you need to pay 3 Euro for the Toll. Step 2 After exiting the tunnel, you will see a sign reading ‘IGOUMENITSA straight & PREVEZA right’. Continue STRAIGHT. (You are now on the main road to IGOUMENITSA, PARGA & LYGIA.  Continue along this road for a further 24km. Step 3 On the right-hand side of the road you will see small blue mileage markers. They are every 500m. Watch out for marker “27” km. You need to start preparing to turn left at the next junction. Exactly at the “28” marker there is a crossroads sign for “Igoumenitsa 65” (also says Beach and Riza). Before this sign you need to be prepared to pull into the left lane so you can turn left at this junction. Step 4 Once you have turned left you will wind your way downhill. At the bottom of the hill, the sea will be on your left and just continue along the road.  You will pass ACROGIALI CAMPING /MINI MARKET.  This is your nearest public telephone point.  Then a little further a lilac house on your left.  Soon you will see a small white sign on your LEFT with VILLA LYGIA written in red.  Turn LEFT here at the telegraph pole and follow the track down to the villa.  Iron gates on your right hide the villa.  You may need to open the large iron gates to park.
