About this property

Melyn is a two-bedroom cottage that has a beamed open plan layout providing spacious kitchen, dining and lounge areas. Modern kitchen appliances include a dishwasher. Original stone staircase to a twin-berth gallery bedroom, separate bathroom with bath, and master bedroom with double bed.

Access to the farm is via a drive which sweeps up from Cwmbach to a position of elevated tranquillity. Behind the farm is a four acre broadleaf wood and open fields which border the ‘nant’ (stream) which supplies our water.
Guests are able to enjoy this private wood which has direct access to the upland areas behind the farm which is classified “open country”.
The stone cottages and studios have flagstones and floorboards which have underfloor heating.
The Shepherds Hut has an electric convector heater
All properties have fresh linen, a modern bathroom, sink, microwave, hairdryer, television, wifi, kettle, toaster. All except Gwyn has e woodburner: we charge £5 per night including logs.
Melyn and Arian cottages have a full kitchen with cooker and dishwasher and are on two floors.
Gwyn, our ground floor studio, is disabled friendly.

wonderful place

We only had one onight sto spend in this amazing cottage. What a unique place. Would highly recommend a stay if you are in the area. You won't regret it!

A great break in the countryside.

Tunnel Cottages was an ideal spot for us as it was near enough to the local facilities but also far enough away to feel that touch of countryside remoteness. It proved an ideal base for us to visit family in Cwmbach and Clyne. We would definitely consider doing the same again.

Lovely l location , the cottage is well equipped and comfortable.

We were delighted with the cottage, it was clean and comfortable. We have two dogs and there were some good walks for them.
