About this property

About this space

My home is a wonderfully spacious 18th century cottage in the beautiful village of Ascott-under-Wychwood, a quintessential English village built in Cotswold stone.

The property has three large bedrooms, comprising 2 king size and 1 twin room (can be converted to king-size on request), each with their own private bathroom. The property is in pristine condition and has been tastefully furnished to a superior standard throughout.

The space
My cottage is a luxurious base from which to soak up peaceful village life and also to explore the wider Cotswolds, and everything it has to offer.

My cottage spans three floors, giving plenty of space and privacy for guests. The property has a large conservatory looking out onto a stunning garden, measuring 100ft by 100ft, ideal for kids and adults alike!

The downstairs layout has a large, modern and fully equipped kitchen, including breakfast bar and wood burner. The spacious and bright dining room is directly off the kitchen and comfortably sits 6 diners. Heading the other way, you move into the living room, with comfy sofas, books and TV. Continuing through brings you into the large conservatory area.

The conservatory leads to the garden, which in many ways is the highlight of the property! I am lucky to have such an amazing garden, which comes with apple trees, lovely outside seating and separate dining area, BBQ and plenty of space for kids to run around and enjoy themselves!

On the first floor you will find two majestic bedrooms, both with king sized beds and their own private bathroom.

On the top floor, you will find the original beams of the property and a further bedroom, consisting of twin beds, as well as a further bathroom. NOTE: the twin beds can be set up as a king-sized bed also, on request at time of booking.

All bedrooms come with hotel quality crisp cotton sheets, fluffy towels for each guest and complementary toiletries.

As this is a traditional Cotswold cottage, there are some low beams and steep stairs, so please be careful.

Pets are allowed on request only, to enable us to determine if suitable for the property.

Please no smoking or vaping is permitted throughout the property.

I love living in Ascott-under-Wychwood and will provide guests with a full list of recommendations of things to do, both locally and slightly further afield.
