Unique family house in a quiet, but well-connected residential area in West London.
Featured in multiple publications, and known locally as "the hungry house" for its mural this is a truly unique space full of delightful playful details and whimsical art.
This is a detached house with 3 floors. The heart of it is an open-plan living area with chess-themed kitchen island (fully fitted; induction hob), handmade larder, and an ultra-comfortable reclining sofa. It opens fully to a large paved garden, ideal for enjoying a meal al fresco or doing sports (we have a table tennis and a Swedish ladder; TRX can be fitted).
Also on the ground floor there is a fully isolated guest bedroom / cinema room with a fold-out Natuzzi sofa bed and an Ultra HD home cinema projector (access to Disney+ included; it works fast with our 500Mb wi-fi). Finally, there is a small guest bathroom with a toilet and a shower.
The first floor has two single bedrooms (these are our boys' rooms - each has a single bed and a desk) and a bathroom with a power shower.
The top floor has a master bedroom with a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom, with a Victorian standalone iron tub.
The house is located on a quiet residential street in West London in the heart of Askew Village with its trendy bakeries and traditional pubs. It is 4 minutes walking from Ravenscourt park - one of the best family parks in London, with a large adventure playground, football pitch, basketball courts and plenty of space for picnics. The house has excellent transport links with 2 tube stations within 15 minutes on foot. The area is also well-served by busses and Lime electric bikes, and you will also have access to our 2 adult bikes and an electric scooter. Westfield shopping centre (largest in London) is also within walking distance.
We hope you will enjoy your stay!
