Not at all what we expected
First, you must know that there are 61 steps in Narrow hallways, several flights without railings and one flight without lights.
It is not a 3 bedroom: one bed and loft. We couldn’t find sheets to open the couch to another bed.
The property had received rave reviews - yes for the location, but nothing about the unit was worth the price-
Curtains were missing in some windows
4 lights in the bathroom were out
We requested extra towels- there was one large towel per person- no washcloths.
No paper towels, no tissue- we contacted them to request these items and additional toilet paper (we had to go to the store and purchase some) and never heard from them. There was one kitchen towel, no sponges.
It is very sparsely furnished and seating is limited. The street noise after 12 am was loud, and construction workers in other unit in the building started work at 6 am!!
While not required but very much appreciated would have been washing machine soap, a few condiments and spices and a clean coffee pot.
This was the worst Vrbo I’ve been in in terms of amenities and host.
And for those who are geographically challenged, you must take a water taxi to get to Rialto Mercado!!!
We were instructed that it was a short 15 minute walk…
This was a very disappointing experience. We loved Venice but can’t give any more than 2 stars.
