Tuvimos una muy mala experiencia. El aviso de la propiedad decía que tenía elevador y no tenía. Es en un tercer piso con una escalera estrecha. Tuvimos que subir y bajar las maletas cargándolas. También decía que tenía una cama queen y un sofá cama. Pues había solo un sofá cama, con un colchón delgado y muy incómodo. Si uno se movía al dormir, sonaba todo. Las fotos del departamento son tomadas con gran angular para hacerlo parecer más espacioso. Es más bien pequeño en realidad. El edificio está en mantenimiento, con muchos andamios y construcción en el patio interior desde el que se accede a la escalera del departamento. Esto no está avisado en la información. Y hay un anuncio que dice que la remodelación comenzó en febrero. Por la incomodidad de la cama, tuvimos que hacer una reserva en otro lugar y movernos después de la primera noche (habíamos contratado tres noches). Quisimos hacer la queja a Expedía, y nos dijeron que teníamos que hacerlo a través de Vrbo. Nos comunicamos con Vrbo y con el arrendatario, sin ninguna solución. Pésimo servicio de Vrbo y de quiene publicitan algo falso.

Horrible, Filthy Apartment

This was the worst VRBO experience I have ever had in years of using the service. The apartment was not clean, there was human hair on the bed, the place was dusty, the table has scratches and stains, and the walls had liquid stains on them. The light in the bathroom also didn’t work and there were what looked like mildew stains in the shower area too. It looked like people hadn’t been there in months, and it definitely hadn’t been cleaned in as long, if not longer. The property people were also difficult to contact during the check-in process and I had to talk to them several times before agreeing on an arrival time. They never reached out to me, I had to proactively repeatedly reach out to them. Also note that it’s required to contact them via phone, so if you are traveling abroad prepare yourself for a phone bill. The building itself is also under construction and I did not feel safe in this dirty place. I ended up leaving and am contesting a refund with VRBO and the property owners. They ruined my vacation, and my entire afternoon in Milan was taken up trying to find new lodging or decide to go home. Since this was my first stop on my trip, their lack of service also messed up my future travel plans. I have always loved VRBO and am not new to vacation rentals, but places like this are the reason people stay away from property rental and go to hotels instead. VRBO staff were responsive but also limited in the help they can provide. So disappointed!
