The apartment is located in Losone, right next to the famous lakeside town of Ascona.
Ascona is an exclusive tourist destination, a lakeside paradise with an extraordinary Lido characterised by sandy beaches and mountains in the background.
Local markets, shopping, gastronomy, and street artists are great alternatives for both children and adults.
For those looking to do some sports we recommend trying the Golf Club Ascona, the Tennis Club Ascona, the Siberia Ice Rink in Ascona or the equestrian centre Scuderia alle Gerre.

For those who are interested in art and literature a trip to Monte Verità (Hill of Truth) it's a must, given that the environment created by Ida Hofmann and Henri Oedenkoven became a popular haven and attracted many high-profile personalities; among them the writers Hermann Hesse and Erich Maria Remarque.

During the warm months we highly recommend visiting the oldest minigolf in the world, where you can play on the 18 courses amongst a beautiful Mediterranean park surrounded by palm trees.
Nearby in Locarno, every year the International Film Festival (August) and the “Moon and Stars” music festival (July) take place in one of the biggest and most famous squares in Switzerland; Piazza Grande .
The Lido di Locarno is also a wonderful place for swimming in lake Maggiore, sunbathing in the huge grounds, relaxing in the pool or having lunch in the shade while enjoying a glass of local wine.

We recommend travelling to the property by car, as there is one free parking space in front of the apartment.
