Spread over three floors on a quiet street near the town centre, it's perfectly located for exploring the city and beyond. Visit the Quay for some watersports, its many cafes & bars or walk along the canal to the Exe estuary for some bird spotting. After a day of activities, unwind in the cosy lounge or enjoy a meal in the large basement dining room. Perfect for your next family adventure!

The space
Our home has been decorated in a traditional theme with fixtures and fittings that are in keeping with the character of the property. The furnishings are of high quality and the windows are dressed with bespoke curtains made from vintage fabric. This provides a very classic look that is homely and elegant.

On the ground floor, you will find the lounge to the front of the front with comfortable sofas and chairs and space for all guests to relax. We have left some games and reading material for you to enjoy. The kitchen is well-appointed and filled with everything you could need to whip up a meal. There is also a small dining table and a separate utility room leading from the space. Stairs lead down to a large basement room with a dining table that would fit the whole family. Perfect for eating together or playing board games. There is a small enclosed courtyard where you can sit out or store any bikes/sporting equipment.

To the first floor is the master bedroom with large windows allowing plenty of light to spill in. There is a spacious family bathroom with a roll-top bath and separate shower all very recently decorated, and a further double bedroom. The top floor is in the attic space and has the benefit of full-height ceilings and exposed beams. This houses another double bedroom with ensuite shower room.

Guest access
During your stay you will have access to the entire home and you will not share any spaces with any other guests.
Other things to note

Please be aware that this home is dressed to fit the character of the property, and as such, there are a number of vintage items in the decor, including the curtains. These add to the beauty of the property, but I would be extremely grateful if guests are particularly mindful of this and ensure they only handle them with care. Thank you.

We provide linen for all the beds and towels for each guest. You will be welcomed with a travel-sized toiletry set per guest, as well as a loo roll in each bathroom. The home has basics such as tea, coffee and sugar, cooking oil, salt and pepper.

Please note that before your booking begins, you will need to verify your details and ID through Know Your Guest. You will also be given the choice between paying a refundable deposit or buying a non-refundable damage waiver.
