About this property
Latin Rhythm, by Veeve
Situated a stone’s throw from Paris’ historic Latin Quarter and the lavish Jardin du Luxembourg, this one-bedroom apartment brings a frisson of contemporary flair to one of the city’s most historic neighbourhoods. Sleeping up to four guests, this apartment manifests modern-day verve with its clean lines, midcentury furniture and striking wall art which intelligently combine to only embellish its quintessential Parisian charm...
LIVING & DINING AREA
Two sets of French doors skilfully imbue the majestic living area with natural light, accentuating its high ceilings and refined parquet floors. Sleek leather armchairs, wing chairs and ebony cabinets bring a contemporary flavour to proceedings in the lounge, where two arresting wall prints deliver a dash of abstract flair. A double sofa bed can also be found here should you require additional sleeping space. The dining area takes a turn towards traditional tastes with its ornate fireplace, oversized mirror and delightful serving trolley, where you can relish captivating views beyond the Juliet balcony at mealtimes.
KITCHEN
Lustrous in its sensuous shades of midnight grey, the modern kitchen enchants with its white tile effect, wood worktops and breakfast bar. Fully equipped with all key amenities, connoisseurs of a fine claret may wish to make note of the wine fridge; perfect if you’re keen to capitalise on a tasting tour or two during your stay in the capital or arrive here after a whistlestop tour of France’s famed wine regions.
BEDROOM
Gloriously minimalist in style and benefiting from soothing tree-top views from the balcony, the principal bedroom offers a large double bed, chest of drawers, wardrobe, desk and bookshelf.
BATHROOM
Pebble dash tiling stamps its presence on the family bathroom, comprising a large walk-in shower and wash basin. A separate WC can be found further down the hallway.
WE LOVE
The judicious location where you can savour several of Paris’ leading landmarks in one morning. Start with an invigorating stroll through the Jardins du Luxembourg, stop for a spot of brunch in the Latin Quarter before a leisurely return home via the iconic Panthéon...
Home Truths:
No smoking, pets or parties. The WC is separate from the bathroom and the fireplace in the living room is purely decorative. This apartment does not have air conditioning or a TV. The apartment is located on the second floor and can be accessed by a lift.

Why they chose this property
The 5th arrondissement is located on the left bank of the Seine River and is more commonly known as the Latin Quarter due to the many universities in the area. A truly historical area of Paris, several rare archaeological remains can be found in this part of Paris. The Panthéon crowns the hill of the centre of this historical arrondissement. On a nice, clear summer evening you can walk down to the Jardin des Plantes, the botanical gardens, and enjoy a picnic or leisurely stroll around in this beautiful, well maintained garden. There are also many museums around this arrondissement, and you can even find a year-round open-air market on rue Mouffetard.
