On the first floor of a villa right on the beach, on a quiet stretch of the coast, but only a short walk from the charming town of Kraljevica, this apartment is a wonderful holiday destination for friends or family who want to enjoy Croatia’s beautiful beaches and discover some of its fascinating history.

The apartment, which sleeps 4 people, is designed to bring the outside space indoors and is blessed with a large balcony overlooking the sparkling Adriatic Sea. The main living area, which has large glass doors out onto the balcony, has a sofa, a marine blue breakfast bar for casual meals and an open-plan kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with a cooker hob, fridge, freezer and Nespresso coffee machine.

The balcony makes a relaxing and stylish living area, furnished with sun loungers, a parasol and another dining table, where guests can enjoy meals al fresco.

Bedroom 1: The master bedroom has a stunning sea view, with sliding glass doors leading directly onto the balcony. The room has a double bed, drawers and an en suite bathroom.

Location
Set on a quiet side road, with stairs leading directly to the sea, this apartment enjoys a sunny position and fantastic views. The area is known for its beautiful beaches and clear waters, but there is also a lot of history to explore.

Kraljevica (5 minutes) has not one, but two, castles as well as the Adriatic’s oldest shipbuilding yard and several excellent restaurants and cafés.

The city of Rijeka (25 mins) also makes a fascinating day out. It is Croatia’s main port and has plenty of interesting places to visit. For self-catering the market (Monday to Saturday mornings) is worth a trip. Here you can find local produce to prepare and enjoy back at home.

Rijeka International Airport is just 15 minutes away, over the Krk bridge, which can be seen from the apartment.
