Our studio overlooks a beautiful garden and provides a relaxing atmosphere, as so the open terrace giving you a glimpse of closeness to the nature.
Take leisurely strolls through the Gave d'Oloron River or simply enjoy a refreshing bath in the pool.

- approximately 40 minutes away from Bayonne, Biarritz, Hossegor, Dax or Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port and one hour far from San Sebastian, the Pyrenees and Pau
Outdoor activities & touristic guide:
A few steps from the Château you will find the original and unique Eiffel bridge at Castagnède in the Gave d'Oloron. Once crossed you will see a greenway wich follows an old railway line. The route is flat and mostly shady, very colourful in the autumn and it is particularly suitable for extened romantic walks. Strolling under the oak trees you may be able to hear the black woodpecker or see a charcoal-burner near the barthes de Salies.
This beautiful 7,4 km route is perfect to discover by foot or bike and here is where you arrive to Salies-de-Béarn, a major antique, commercial city and nowadays known for its thermal wonders and cures. So get ready to discover the marvellous steps of history and join the adventurous routes in ESCOS.
Apart from Salies-de-Béarn and ideal for a short stay, both of those captivating towns are perfect for its timeless allure and well-preserved architectural treasures:
- Sauveterre-de-Béarn, an enchanting village nearby
- Navarrenx, a picturesque and fortified medival town
For a longer stay in ESCOS you can venture into the “Côte Basque”, or the French Basque coast which is a stunning stretch of coastline. Known for its natural beauty, vibrant culture, and surf-friendly beaches, the French Basque Coast offers a unique and enchanting experience for visitors. Biarritz, Bidart, San Juan de Luz or Hossegor are just some of the most beautiful places to name.
