Experience the seasons in our cozy Swedish nature house. Spacious place for 4 people. You can light a nice fire in the wood-burning stove in both the living room and on the covered terrace. You can watch TV or read a nice book on the lovely XL lounge sofa. In the nice kitchen you will find a refrigerator and dishwasher. electric hob and oven. Two bedrooms with plenty of closet space and 2 single beds per room that can be slept separately or together. In the small village of Letafors, surrounded by nature, within walking distance of the beautiful Lettenmeer where you can enjoy fishing, swimming and canoeing.
The crystal clear Klarälven river is only 5 minutes by car. Walk straight from the house into the woods. You encounter elk here very regularly, sometimes even in the backyard! You can also enjoy cycling and mountain biking here. There are 2 supermarkets within a 10-minute drive. In August and September you can pick raspberries in the garden and blueberries and mushrooms in the forest. Welcome to Sweden!
Our Swedish wooden house is located in the tranquil and unspoilt nature of Värmland, a 2.5-hour drive from Oslo airport in the small hamlet of Letafors with 10 other houses. Within walking distance of the extensive Letten reservoir where you can enjoy (ice) fishing, swimming and canoeing. The Klarälven River is 5 minutes by car. Skiing, cross-country skiing, swimming, (ice) fishing, husky rides and snowmobiling are all nearby. There are more than 10,000 lakes in Värmland and only 300,000 people live here on an area half the size of the Netherlands.
Do you like peace, space and nature? Then come to this wonderful place that we like to share with nice people! A 1.5-hour drive away you will find the Moose Park and Fulufjället National Park with the highest waterfall in Sweden and the oldest tree in Sweden: Old Tsjikko (over 9,500 years old). You sometimes find traces of the shy bears, wolves, lynxes and wolverines in the forest. With a bit of luck, a moose family will walk through your garden.
