About the host
Hosted by Peggy
Peggy Layton Owner and manager of the Manti, Vacation Get-A-Way along with my husband Scott love living in this quaint and beautiful town. We love growing gardens year round in our growing dome. Scott is a plumbing contractor and I own my own Massage Therapy business. I substitute teach part time and love writing books. I have written 7 different books on the subject of food storage and survival skills. I travel and speak on the subject of being prepared. Scott and I have raised 7 children and are the grandparents of 9 grandchildren. We love to travel the world and every two years we take an extended vacation to a foreign country. We also go to Maui Hawaii quite often. Our lives are busy and full. We are excited to run a vacation rental business and look forward to meeting you.
Why they chose this property
My husband and I purchased this home as a rental in 2016. This year we decided to open it up to vacationers and try our hand at vacation rentals. I love antiques and I have furnished it with beautiful antiques that I have collected through the years. All the beds and dressers are from the early 1900's. It gives the place a unique feel merging the new with the old.
What makes this property unique
The whole family can stay here and enjoy a family reunion setting while enjoying the quaintness of the little town of Manti Utah located in Sanpete County. You can enjoy the festivities such as Scandinavian Festival, Heritage Days, Rat Fink Reunion, Mormon Miracle Pageant, Independence day, Pioneer day and Sanpete County Fair. Its ideal for those ATV groups that come in to explore the Manti La-Sal Mountains and families who come to attend a wedding in the beautiful Manti Temple can stay together as a group.
