About this property

Waterfront House - Three Bedroom Apartment, Sleeps 6

THE APARTMENT

Get ready to experience the joys of waterside living in this luxurious 3 bedroom apartment on the banks of the River Thames.

Accessed via an elevator or staircase, this modern and homely property is located on the 2nd floor of the Waterfront House development in Battersea, South London. How close is it to the river? Glance through the large windows in your open plan living area and you'll see uninterrupted views of the Thames.

Those windows make sure this large and welcoming area of the apartment gets plenty of natural light. It's a space that features a comfy corner sofa, plus armchair and essential smart television. There's also a sleek and sophisticated kitchen that's all smooth cabinets and shiny countertops, with integrated appliances to help you make memorable meals for yourselves.

There's a dining table too, with seating for six, ideal for sitting and grabbing snacks or toasting the good life at a more formal eating occasion.

Those with work to do are not forgotten in this riverside apartment, as there's a dedicated workspace with desk, chair, shelves, drawers and even a house plant to keep you company. There's also a washing machine and dryer in the apartment, so you can take care of all your laundry needs in-house.

At the end of busy working days, or equally busy days full of sightseeing, you'll have a choice of three bedrooms to return home to and relax and recharge in. The master bedroom features a SuperKingsize bed, the second a Kingsize, and the third two single beds - the ideal arrangement for a family, group of friends, or work colleagues visiting London on business.

The apartment has two bathrooms in which you can relax and refresh, giving you a choice of a tub for long soaks and a walk-in shower for quick pick-me-ups! Much depends on how much time you have to get ready, as with so much to do in the local area and across London, you'll no doubt be eager to get out and about and experience it all. That's if you can tear yourselves away from that wonderful river view!

THE LOCAL AREA

The apartment is located on the south bank of the River Thames in a popular residential area that's close to excellent transport links. You have plenty of green spaces nearby too, including York Gardens which is just a 10 minute walk away.

Even bigger green spaces can be found at Battersea Park that's just under 1 mile away and Clapham Common (1.3m). Both of these locations host big events during the year, so if you're going along to watch or take part, staying here will make both destinations easy to reach.

You also have local shops and supermarkets close by in which you can stock up the cupboards and fridge freezer in the apartment. And the Royal Academy of Dance is less than half a mile from the apartment, making this the ideal place to stay if you're teaching or taking part in classes.

GETTING AROUND

One of the biggest advantages of staying in this part of London is the variety of transport options you get. Britain's busiest railway station - Clapham Junction - is less than a mile from the apartment. You can catch train services from there into London and to destinations all over southern Britain, including to Gatwick Airport and the popular seaside resort of Brighton.

Many bus services have stops in the area around the apartment too. The 170 bus can be caught from right outside the building and that will take you to Victoria Station via Lower Sloane Street! But because you're so close to the Thames, why not use the river to get around this wonderful city? Plantation Wharf is just a half mile walk from the apartment and it's from there that you can catch Thames Clipper services east along the river to places like Westminster, the London Eye, Tower Bridge, Canary Wharf and Greenwich. There's no better way to travel and see the capital!

And finally, just in case you're planning to arrive in real style, you might want to know that Battersea Helipad is just 0.2 miles away from the apartment.
