About this property

Beach Corner - awesome views!

Beach Corner is heaven for a seaside escape. This 5-bed, 3 bathroom house with direct beach access offers unfettered sea views from Hastings to Eastbourne, with sunrise and sunset balconies.

Downstairs has a cinema room, mini-gym, snug/library, sun-room, kitchen, shower/toilet and utility room. Upstairs has 4 sea view bedrooms, 3 doubles and a single/office, and a double at the front. There's a family bathroom/toilet and a shared en suite/shower serving two bedrooms, or private for one.

The space
This lovely beach property is our home so you should find everything you need to make your stay comfortable, from extra blankets and a library of books, to herbs and spices and a fully equipped kitchen.

With over 3,000 square feet of space, and two reception rooms downstairs, the house has a lovely generous feel to it, and there is a large flat screen TV with complimentary Netflix and Amazon Prime video plus a cinema room with Freeview, BBC Iplayer and a DVD/Blu Ray player. 250mb internet allows those needing to work a reliable high speed connection.

There are 4 decent sized double bedrooms, one with a super king sized bed, one with a king sized bed and two with standard double beds. The fifth bedroom is our office room, set up with a small single bed. There is another small single, which can be set up in the master bedroom for a child, or set up in the office for two children sharing.

In addition to a big sea-facing living and dining area, we have a snug/library room, a TV area and a cinema room, so there's space for people to come together or chill in separate spaces.

It's wonderful for families and children as the garden backs right on to the beach which is perfect for swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding or even kite surfing.

We do not allow parties or accept large single sex groups as this is a quiet village setting suitable for families, dog walkers and those wanting a quiet relax at the beach.

We have an EV fast charging point which is available on an honesty box basis.

There is a nearby hotel where you can get a lovely meal or pop out for a pint. The Cooden Beach golf club is a minute's walk away and welcomes day golfers to use the 18 hole links course.

Guest access
This is a great area for surfing, kite-surfing, paddle-boarding and boating. It’s a pebble beach, but sandy when the tide’s out leaving lots of rock pools for children to splash in, with space for sandcastles galore.

There's some fantastic walks and bike rides locally, and the renowned South Downs Way and iconic Seven Sisters Country Park are just a short drive away.

There's a local shop at the train station just two minutes walk away, or you can drive to the nearest big supermarket in under ten minutes. There's a fantastic local deli and bakery for all those holiday goodies too.

You can walk along the beach to the De La Warr Pavillion and Bexhill Museum in around half an hour, or drive and park, to see the local collections and exhibitions, or enjoy a gig. The De La Warr is an awesome building and well worth a visit, if only to marvel at the architecture and have a coffee.

Nearby there's the attractions of Hastings and Eastbourne with a wealth of boutique shops, galleries, amusements and restaurants. As a fishing port, Hastings is famous for its fish and chip shops, as well as smugglers caves and cliffs, including the UK's steepest funicular railway. Slightly further afield is Brighton, still an easy trip of under an hour by train or car.

Other things to note
We love art and you will find lots of paintings by local artists in our home, together with information about them and their work. We also have a lovely seaside mural on the side of our house for all beach goers to enjoy.
