The entire family had a wonderful experience at this barn home. The grandkids had so many adventures. Andrea was so helpful and friendly. We couldn't have asked for a better vacation.
Rol and I are so glad you all had some great family time! Thank you for taking such good care of the apartment. Your family is darling and you are welcome back anytime!
It would help if it had another bathroom.
Fabulous & Beautiful Countryside Retreat
Had a wonderful stay. My friend Louise and I fell in love with the property within minutes of our arrival. The barn has such great character with it being well appointed and providing a very comfortable stay. The property grounds are breathtaking with us being able to take in natures beauty in every direction. We especially enjoyed sitting on the balcony with a glass of wine to watch the sunset while several deer played in the field in front of us. It was wonderful to be tucked away in the rolling hills of the country yet only be a 20-minute drive away from downtown Nashville. The owners (Andrea and Rolland) are beyond lovely. It was so nice to get acquainted with Andrea - she is such a doll with her also being quite the gifted interior decorator! We appreciated her being so easy to chat with and providing us with so many great suggestions for local dining, shopping, hiking trails, etc., We truly hated to leave to drive back to Chicago in the past day. If you are seeking to be with nature in a serene and peaceful setting, this is the place to be!
We so appreciate the wonderful review and mostly appreciate that you enjoyed our property! It was so fun to meet you both and feel sure that if we lived close, we would be friends! Thanks again for choosing to stay at Eclipse. Remember that you are welcome back anytime!
Beautiful place for a getaway!
What a beautiful place! We very much enjoyed our weekend here. It was just perfect. We look forward to visiting again.
Thank you for staying at Eclipse and for taking such great care of the apartment! Glad you had a pleasant stay, and we welcome you back anytime!
We had the best time! Property was amazing and our four girls were ready to move in by the end of the trip. Great for a family vacation!! Lots of hiking, beautiful parks nearby, and fishing is a short walk away.

About Andrea and Rolland Luplow
We are a physician and retired nurse that enjoy everything outdoors. Rolland is passionate about hunting and fishing. Andrea's thing is gardening, nature, architecture, and design. We have lived in Dickson County for over thirty years and appreciate all that the area offers! Our three children live in other cities but we do have two golden retrievers at home, Lexi and Missy. This listing is new for us but we have offered our mountain home in the Aspen Valley on VRBO for the last two years. Check out our reviews on our Colorado house! (VRBO #833636) Feel like a trip to Colorado next, let's talk!
Andrea and Rolland Luplow purchased this Barn in 2015
Why Andrea and Rolland Luplow chose Kingston Springs
We both share a weakness for farms! After selling our home, we purchased this farm in Cheatham County. It was the cool barn that caught our attention! We actually lived in the apartment during the construction of our new home which was recently completed. We have enjoyed meeting our neighbors and the beauty of the nature that surrounds us. The best part is that we are located so close to Nashville, Franklin, and Dickson should we choose or need to go. Most days we choose to stay put!
What makes this Barn unique
We feel sure you will love the cool barn and apartment as much as we do! It got its name, "Eclipse", because we had the first guests the weekend of the 2017 total eclipse combined with the fact that it is clad in black, cedar siding. We were inundated with people trying to get to the area to view the historic event! It was built by a well known Nashville builder and incorporates many reclaimed architectural features. The barn was once a working horse barn and still has the old stalls. We are not quite sure what purpose the barn will serve for us. We are envisioning a great place to gather with friends and family. The privacy and serenity that the farm offers is the best part. We go on daily hikes along the creek with our dogs. Springtime is a treat when it is loaded with wildflowers! Which is best, a beautiful fall day in middle Tennessee or a fresh spring morning? Hard to say!
