A lovely first time trip to London!
We thoroughly enjoyed the time we spent in David and Vicky's property. It's just as beautiful in person as it is in the photos. Being in Battersea it's just far enough away from downtown to be quiet in the evenings. The downside to that is taking public transportation to see the sights, which usually requires taking a bus to then get on a train. As a result we wound up using taxis and Uber quite a bit which can get fairly expensive. But we'd definitely stay here again just for the beauty and cleanliness of the property. If we ever get the opportunity to visit London again we'll be back here!

Great location
Just returned to David's lovely house in Clapham for a second time. Fabulous location and facilities, and very easy to get to from the centre. Would highly recommend it.

I have lived and worked in and around London all my life. I live not far from the house in South West London with my wife and two children. I love socialising, cinema and all sports, especially golf. My favourite film is The Sound of Music.

Why they chose this property

I lived in this house for many years and love the area. The house is close to the busy Northcote Road, with its lovely mix of shops, cafes and restaurants, is a short walk to both Clapham and Wandsworth Common.
The house is also perfectly located for public transport links in to London as well as to other tourist attractions south of London such as Windsor Castle, Hampton Court and Wimbeldon.

What makes this property unique

The house is rather unique for the area in that it is double fronted and has very large rooms. As it is on a corner has windows to two sides which make it a very bright house. The roof terrace is very private and acts as a sun trap.
