The property is approximately 20 miles from both the north and south coast, meaning you can spend the day at iconic seaside resorts such as Looe, Fowey, or Bude. You’ll also be within easy reach of picture-postcard fishing villages, including Polperro (24 miles) and Port Isaac (21 miles). Closer to home, head into Launceston to potter around the town’s independent shops, explore the Norman castle, or dine in one of the friendly cafes or pubs.
The stone barn conversion sits alongside four similar holiday homes within the grounds of a country manor house. Inside, the property beautifully combines original features, such as exposed trusses and whitewashed walls, with stylish decor and an array of homely touches. On the ground floor, you’ll find two country-cottage-style bedrooms – a double and a twin – along with a sleek family bathroom. Upstairs, discover a bright, open-plan living area with a vaulted ceiling and French doors opening onto a Juliet balcony. Spend time here, preparing delicious feasts in the contemporary kitchen area and sharing family mealtimes at the wooden dining table.
