Woodland Views Lodge
Located in the peaceful countryside near Milton Abbas, this contemporary wooden cabin is a wonderful rural retreat for couples seeking a balance of seclusion and adventure. Surrounded by rolling hills and fantastic walking territory such as Bulbarrow Hill, it’s ideal for long, scenic rambles hand-in-hand, with sweeping views that stretch across Dorset’s iconic landscape. Despite its tranquil setting, Milton Abbas boasts excellent road links, so you're never far from a day out. An 8-mile drive away, the handsome Georgian town of Blandford Forum awaits. Here, you can enjoy riverside strolls, browse independent shops, and perhaps sample a pint at the historic local brewery. When the coast calls, you're within easy reach of the dramatic Jurassic Coastline. Spend the day exploring the fossil-rich cliffs of Lulworth Cove (17.5 miles) or soaking up the sun on the golden shores of Sandbanks.
Tucked into a peaceful hillside setting, this beautifully crafted wooden-clad cabin sits beside the owner’s home, offering privacy and breathtaking views that stretch out across the treetops of a stunning landscaped garden. Accessed via a shared driveway and entrance, the cabin has been thoughtfully designed to make the most of its elevated location and natural surroundings. Step into the entrance hall with space to kick off muddy boots and hang coats after a countryside stroll. To your left is a sleek shower room with a polished cement finish for freshening up after a day of adventure. Straight ahead lies the inviting double bedroom, with open storage and a tranquil atmosphere that makes it easy to unwind. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner feels like a snug alpine retreat, with warm wooden ceilings, a Smart TV for evening entertainment, and a table set for two. The kitchen is fully equipped, ready for everything from lazy breakfasts to romantic suppers.
French doors on either side lead you out to a covered veranda with outdoor seating where you can sip your morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening, all while gazing out into the leafy canopy of the garden below.
