Welcome
Thank you for booking with us
we hope you have a lovely stay.
(We are in the main house should you need anything.)
Check in from 3pm
Please arrange a time and come to the main house,
12 Marine Avenue BN3 4LG to pick up the keys
Check Out time is 11am
When you are checking out please:
• Turn off all lights and heating
• Close and lock all windows and doors
• Place used towels on the bathroom floor
• Put the keys in the letterbox at 12 Marine Avenue
IMPORTANT
For insurance purposes: Only the 1 or 2 people who have booked into Hove Beach House are allowed to use the Annex and outside space. We are sorry, but this does mean that no extra guests, family or relatives are able to visit or stay.

Parking
There is free on street parking outside with a restriction between 10am -11am and 7pm- 8pm. You can either move your car for these periods or let us know ahead of time when booking and we can order you residents day permits at £3.50 per day.
Getting your bearings
The beach to your south out the wooden gate turn left and then left down Norman road and cross the main seafront road. Wish Park to your north out of the gate, left along marine avenue to Saxon road and the park is on your right. There is a corner shop on the seafront road open till 8pm at the south end of Saxon road for basics and an M&S garage further along
Coming and going
You will be given a gate key and front door key when you arrive. We have a cockapoo called milo and for security, please can you make sure the annex door and the gate are shut at all times and locked when you come and go. If you meet Milo he is super friendly and after an initial bark will bother you for affection. Please let us know in advance if you would rather not be greeted by him. (He is not allowed in the Annex).
It is a quiet road and we have elderly neighbours so please
do bear that in mind when coming and going
Amenities
TV & Sound bar
Large controller for TV / Small controller for Sound bar.
Red button on the large controller to switch the TV on. Home button for all the channels. Microphone button for voice control to easily find what to watch. (Small controller for the sound bar and volume.) You have Virgin TV Netflix, Prime and Sky Cinema. You can watch TV in bed - just swing it out (gently) on its arm.
Bathroom
Shower main lever up to start and side to side to set temperature. (careful it can go very hot) Toilet Just toilet paper should go in the toilet please. There’s a little trash bin for everything else. Sink is only small with no overflow so please don’t overfill. Extractor Fan switch outside bathroom the on the left. Electric Velux window opens with the controller outside the bathroom using the up and down arrows.
Kitchen
There is a Kettle, microwave and toaster on the kitchen worktop.
Plates cups and cutlery in the cupboards below. Please use the kitchen bin for rubbish. Built in fridge under the counter. (If you are a light sleeper you may want to turn this to ‘0’ on the dial at night) Velux blind pole is in the wardrobe space at the end of the kitchen. It hooks onto the small grey clip on the blind to pull up and down. Please do not open this window.
Heating
A touch screen on the wall in the kitchen operates the heating, If you want it warmer or colder press the up or down arrow and then the tick.

Local Restaurants and cafes
Fat Boy Slims Big beach cafe at hove lagoon for snacks and a drink Rockwater for upmarket seafront luxury food and drinks views and atmosphere. Breakfast at Tiffanys for big good value all day breakfasts. Richardson Road has Drury Cafe for teas coffees and cake plus whole food shops and a newsagents. The Westbourne Pub on Portland road does good pub food and beer along with a host of other pubs and world food restaurants along this road.
Transportation Nearby
Bus There is a great bus network along new church road (Top of wish Park) to pretty much anywhere in Brighton and hove. Or you can catch the 700 coast liner bus all along the coast east or west to Brighton saltdean one way and worthing the other. Nearest stop is from the seaside end of Wish road on the left.
Bike There is also an electric Beryl e-bike hire pick up point at the bottom of wish road where you can hire a bike through their app for your ride or the weekend Train Aldrington train station is a 20 minute walk and Hove Train station a 15 minute drive.

I love the sea and moved to Brighton so I could Kite Surf as much as possible. I now swim and enjoy countryside walks with my wife and our dog and boys if we can drag them along and will occasionaly get on a paddle board if someone else has inflated it!
