Si-Yr-Afon consists of a kitchen with an electric oven, electric ceramic hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, a living/dining room with sitting for six people, a woodburning stove, a TV and a sitting room with a selection of books and games. The bedrooms consist of two doubles and one twin alongside a bathroom and a shower room. Outside there is an enclosed rear garden area with a patio, balcony and furniture. There is roadside parking on a first come first serve basis. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome for 20GBP per dog, but sorry, this is a smoke-free property. Within 0.2 miles, you will find a shop, within 0.1 miles, a pub and within 0.1 miles a river. A highchair and travel cot are available on request and WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Note: Children must be supervised in the garden as the lake backs onto the property. Note: Steps going down onto the lower patio area of the garden. Note: Dogs are not allowed upstairs or on furniture. Si-Yr-Afron is a fantastic base for your holiday.

There is also a station for the Welsh Highland Railway, which passes through dramatic scenery, the village of Beddgelert and onto Porthmadog. Boat trips are available from the harbour and another attraction within walking distance of the town centre is Segontium, a Roman fort and museum, housing many important finds. Caernarfon offers a wide selection of shops and places to eat and is close to the lovely beaches of Ynys Mon (Anglesey) and the Lleyn Peninsula as well as the mountains and rivers of Eryri (Snowdonia National Park), including the renowned mountaineering town of Llanberis at the foot of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon).
