Truwell is a super cute period detached cottage in the pretty village of Foulsham, boasting two double bedrooms, both en suite, sitting room, open plan kitchen diner and a courtyard garden with a Hot Tub, Pizza Oven and BBQ / Fire Pit.
The cottage dates back to the early 18th century and retains charming character features throughout, such as exposed beams and exposed brickwork, a vaulted ceiling in the principal bedroom, and a wood-burning stove. Yet, it has been sympathetically renovated to create a comfortable and modern living space.

The sitting room to the front of the cottage, is flooded with natural light from the two bay windows. There are three sofas to relax in front of the TV or wood burning stove, or curl up on with a book from the bookshelf. The kitchen diner is to the rear of the cottage with French doors opening out to the courtyard garden beyond. The kitchen is modern and well equipped, with an electric hob, fan assisted oven, dishwasher, free standing fridge, small freezer and washing machine. Everything you need to rustle up something delicious for lunch or supper if you are not out exploring Norfolk. There is a downstairs loo off the kitchen.

Upstairs are two double bedrooms. The principal bedroom to the front of the cottage has an impressive vaulted ceiling, king size bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and an en suite shower room. Bedroom Two is across the landing to the rear of the cottage looking out over the courtyard garden below. There is a double bed, dressing table and cupboard for storage, along with an en suite shower room.

Outside

The cottage is accessed from the side and there is free kerbside parking outside the cottage and along the lane to either side.

The courtyard garden to the rear is walled and fully enclosed with a super inflatable hot tub, to relax in some bubbles after a day at the beach. There is a gas Ooni pizza oven and a charcoal BBQ / Fire Pit, hidden in the garden table. With pretty lighting, this is the perfect spot to enjoy some al fresco dining or breakfast in the sunshine before heading out.

There is The Queens Head a few minutes stroll away, as is the village shop, in the other direction.

The Local Area

Truwell is ideally located for easy access to the many attractions North Norfolk has to offer. The coast is not far away with Weybourne Beach (shingle) and Sheringham, taking less than 35 minutes by car and Brancaster and Hunstanton beaches (both sandy) being 45 minutes. Rock pools supporting a wide range of sealife including sea anemones, blennies, prawns and crabs can be found at West Runton Beach. This beach is also good for fossil hunting, particularly at low tide, when the Cromer forest-bed is exposed.

The Norfolk coastline is known for its common and grey seal populations which inhabit several beaches throughout the year. Large numbers of these enigmatic animals can be viewed by boat at Blakeney Point (35 minute's drive) or on foot at Horsey Gap and Winterton (approximately 60 minute drive).

The Broads National Park is only 35 minute's away by car (Wroxham Broad being the nearest). This is Britain's largest protected wetland. This area is famous for its abundance of scenic daytrip destinations with nature reserves, stately homes, quaint towns and villages to visit.
