About this property

Emily's Hideaway | Mtn Views, Hot Tub, Pool Table

With four en-suite bedrooms, a hot tub, a pool table and an arcade among its amenities, Emily’s Hideaway is an inviting getaway for up to 11 people. Add to that its idyllic location—at the end of a quiet paved road just five minutes from the Pigeon Forge Parkway—and you have the makings of the perfect Smoky Mountain vacation.

Emily’s Hideaway looks out over forested hills toward the Great Smoky Mountains. You can savor the views, the fresh air and the sight of falcons soaring across the sky from the log cabin’s two large decks. The main deck includes a screened-in porch with a dining table where you can enjoy an alfresco meal without uninvited buzzing guests. What’s more, the lower deck features a roomy hot tub. When you return from a day of hiking, skiing or shepherding the kids around Dollywood, a long soak will feel so rejuvenating.

The great room makes up much of the main floor. With its wood-planked walls, floor and cathedral ceiling, it looks exactly as a mountain cabin should. The two leather sofas offer plenty of room for gathering to watch TV or play charades, and the kids can sprawl out on the rug with their toys and games.

The downstairs game room is an equally enticing space for hanging out with family and friends. With a pool table, a game arcade, a card table and a TV, it offers something to keep everyone entertained for hours.

The cabin’s convenient location means you have scores of restaurants to choose from just minutes away. Although sometimes it’s more fun (and more budget-friendly) to eat in—especially when you can shoot pool or jump in the hot tub immediately after your meal. The great room of Emily’s Hideaway includes a dining table that seats eight. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the appliances, cookware, gadgets and tableware you could possibly need. Even if you do eat your meals out, you’ll love the convenience of having a refrigerator to keep juice boxes and wine cold and a coffeemaker for that all-important first cup of the day. There’s a charcoal grill outside as well, should you have a hankering for barbecue.

Two of the four bedrooms are on the main floor, while the other two are downstairs. Each bedroom includes a king-size bed, a flat-screen TV and its own full bathroom. Having a bathroom for each bedroom means you can indulge in a lengthy pampering session without a line forming on the other side of the door—nor will you have to wait your turn to take a shower! One of the upstairs bedrooms has an added luxury: its own jetted tub. And one of the downstairs bedrooms has bunk beds as well as a king-size bed. If you’re vacationing with another family, four of the kids can make this room their private camp adventure!

Other amenities include free Wi-Fi, cable TV, a DVD player and a washer and dryer. Perhaps best of all is the cabin’s location. As you sit on the deck watching the morning mist rise above the mountains and linger beneath the star-studded night sky listening to owls and tree frogs, it’s easy to forget just how close Emily’s Hideaway is to the area’s attractions. Dollywood, Parrot Mountain and Gardens, Alcatraz East Crime Museum, the Ripken Experience, Blake Jones Racing Center, Ober Gatlinburg Amusement Park and Ski Area and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, the Island entertainment complex, the Gatlinburg Golf Course, dinner theaters and more are all a short drive away. Be sure to check out the Great Smoky Arts and Crafts Community, an eight-mile loop of more than 120 shops, galleries and studios.

No matter where the day takes you, you’ll love returning to the comfort and quiet of Emily’s Hideaway afterward. Book your stay today—before someone else beats you to it! We look forward to seeing you soon.
