Here at Villa Nalu, our aim is to give you a luxurious hotel feel in a private home setting. We provide daily breakfast and housekeeping services Monday through Saturday with your rental. We can work into a schedule that fits your group's needs and we are on call 24/7.

As part of the Villa Nalu rental, we have a 6 seat golf cart that we also included being the best way to get around the 4500 acres that make Hacienda Pinilla, to and from the Beach Club or JW Marriott restaurants, it definitely creates the vacation vibe!
The golf cart is a great way to search out the wildlife we have here in Pinilla, you will see tons of monkeys in the mango trees throughout the ranch. We can help in organizing additional golf carts for your group.

BEACH CLUB
Beachfront infinity pool, tiki bar and restaurant, spa, soccer and volleyball courts, fitness center, and sun up to sun down the lifeguarded beach at Playa Avellanas. There is a $10 entry fee per person that is then used as credit at the bar and restaurant.
Beach Club has an annual closing in October every year.

Hacienda Pinilla is home to the J W Marriott hotel, as a guest of Villa Nalu you have access to the numerous restaurants on offer.
You can also purchase a day pass for use of the JW pool and amenities.

MOUNTAIN BIKE TRAILS
There are both Amateur and pro trails
The pro trails are 30kms running all throughout the ranch
The amateur trails are 15kms
These trails are also great for hiking and exploring the 4500 acres.

SURFING
Hacienda Pinilla has to be one of the best locations in Costa Rica to base your surf trip. With 6 waves just on Playa Avellanas and private access to the beach breaks of playa Langosta you don't even need to leave the ranch, but if you looking to explore the area, the famous Playa Negra reef breaks are just 10 minutes south and the river mouth and beach breaks of Tamarindo just 10 minutes to the north.
HACIENDA PINILLA BEACH CLUB
As of Jan 1st , 2023 we have a corporate beach club membership for our guests to enjoy the exclusive Hacienda Pinilla beach club membership.

The Hacienda Pinilla Beach Club sits right on the shores of Playa Avellanas, With an infinity-edge pool looking over the famous surf break of Little Hawaii. The Beach Club has something for everyone whether it's cocktails and or fruit smoothies from the poolside Tiki Bar, kicking back in the poolside sunbeds, surfing one of the world-class breaks of Playa Avellanas, working out in the ocean view fitness center, or relaxing with a massage in the wellness center, its the ultimate beach day!
***Beach Club has an annual closing in October every year.***
As a guest of this property, the entry into the beach club is $10 which is then used as credit at the beach club bar and restaurant (only paid once per day and for ages 12+)

Playa Mansita & Bonita, home of the JW Marriott hotel a great stretch to beach comb and explore tide pools on the lower tide.
Playa Langosta, world-class surfing, beach, and river fishing. We believe Langosta to be the hidden gem of Hacienda Pinilla, the shaded palapas are a great spot for a beach day in the shade, and your just a stroll and river crossing from the action of Playa Langosta and Tamarindo

Hacienda Pinilla is home to the JW Marriott hotel, as our guest, you have access to the numerous restaurants on offer. You can also purchase a day pass for use of the hotel's pool which is the largest in Central America. The day pass gives you access to all of the hotel grounds and amenities.
