Country house in Varzea

This was our first trip to the Azores and we could not have picked a better place to spend a week. The house is so well designed for comfort and beautifully decorated. We loved the big well appointed kitchen with exceptional views looking out towards the Atlantic. On our last night from the upstairs living room we watched the sun drop into the Atlantic for the best sunset. The caretaker was so kind, helpful and easy to reach. The location was exactly what we wanted. Quiet close to the coast and walked to Varzea each morning to get a coffee. The hosts, caretaker and house exceeded our expectations.

Home away from Home in Sao Miguel

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home in Sao Miguel. The proprietors were extremely kind, and provided us recommendations and answers to several questions before our trip. The house was very comfortable, with every amenity we wanted. The furniture was comfortable, the beds very comfortable and the kitchen was extremely well equipped. We cooked several meals at home, and were very pleased with the appliances, the quality of cooking tools, and tableware. The house was extremely clean, and was well stocked with towels, soap, paper goods, dish soap, basic spices. The gardens on the property are extremely beautiful, and the view to the hills and ocean from the second floor are lovely. There is a property manager next door who greeted us, familiarized us with the house, and offered to address any needs we might have - we had none as the house was perfectly lovely. We chose the house for its proximity to Sete Cidades. It was a great location from this point of view. The drive to Furnas is about one hour on excellent roads. As with most of the places we have visited in Portugal, there are the sounds of farm animals (which we found charming) and barking dogs (which we found annoying).

Beautiful house in a peaceful and Inviting place

This house is just lovely. Well appointed and well equipped. It is modern but charming and the outside space and gardens are spectacular.

An oasis in paradise

The house is beautiful, comfortable, and well equipped. The yard has so many flowers and interesting plants. We enjoyed our time there very much! The property manager was kind and very helpful.
