My husband and I got married almost in 2016 here in Brookings... I had just moved from Medford, Oregon, selling it all there (Business and Home), and buying this special, adorable home, returning to my High School roots here. My dream was always to return to this amazing place that holds such special memories for me. My husband also moved back here about 2 years before I did. He came back to help his aging mother in caring for his father, who had developed acute demensia. He was raised here, and we knew each other in High School. So when we got together, following a celebration of life for our former classmate, whom we both loved dearly, it was almost instant that we both knew we couldn't live without each
Turning our home into a vacation rental was always in our minds. We both love people, and want to share our cute home with you and make a little cash doing it! We owned a cleaning company (which we just sold), and recently purchased another home here in Brookings. Turning our beach home into a vacation rental has been fun and rewarding for us! We really hope you enjoy it as much as we do!!

Why they chose this property

1) Clean, cute, bright, vaulted ceilings, loft suite, convenient location. Everything you need for comfort.
2) Ocean view, hear the waves crashing on the beach below, 2 blocks to the beach/port.
3) Hot tub with a view.
4) Chicken Coop comes with fresh eggs.
5) Fire pits (fire dangers posted locally).
6) Parking for 6 vehicles (not including boats or RV's).
7) Why not this property? Multiple steps. No wheelchair access.

What makes this property unique

1) The loft suite is unique and comfy. (note: you will be able to hear everything downstairs... and those downstairs can hear everything upstairs!)

2) Go out back and enjoy our chickens and our unique driftwood built chicken coop!! Enjoy fresh organic eggs from our 6 laying hens.

3) A firepit is available out in back for cool nights and hot toddies. (subject to seasonal fire dangers posted locally).

4) The 6 person hot tub on the lower deck is romantic and will warm your bones while viewing the stars and the ocean, with a glass of wine!
