About this property

Cozy modern apartment in 16th century Coyoacán

It is a modern apartment in 16th century Coyoacán filled with natural light. The apartment is perfectly located just ten minutes away from Jardín Centenario (the main plaza in Coyoacán) in Santa Catarina.
The apartment is on the third floor and to get there you need to take a tight spiral staircase.
Walking distance to all the restaurants, cafes, galleries, boutiques, bookstores and theaters of Coyoacan historical center, to its market, to Frida Kahlo´s and Trotsky´s houses that are now museums, H. Cortes' palace, etc.

There are several delis, wine shops, a very large supermarket, and a green market in the neighborhood.

Parks, lovely plazas and Coyoacan's famous 'Viveros', a 39 hectares park where it is possible to exercise and jog every morning on its 2 mile running track.

The appartment has a fully equipped *recently renovated* kitchen, microwave, coffee maker, oven, stove, 1 bedrooms (queen bed) and 1 sofa bed, 1 smart TV, WiFi; bathroom, private terrace , o laundry room with washer and dryer. Also, a baby crib is available upon request.

Coyoacan is a very quiet and charming district of Mexico City, with lots of trees, colonial houses and pretty alleys; a very pleasant place to walk and enjoy Mexico's great climate. No wonder it is where conquistador Hernan Cortes established his first residence.

Great location in Coyoacan
My husband and I had a great stay here! The location is perfect for accessing a variety of wonderful restaurants, cultural attractions, and parks in the Coyoacan neighborhood. With a small kitchen, patio, and laundry area, you will have everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Lovely small apartment in perfect neighborhood
The one-bedroom apartment is well-laid out and efficient. The kitchen has everything you need. Great patio. Clean and comfortable. Sofia and staff are very attentive. We had water problems, but well, it goes with the territory. The spiral staircase was definitely a problem for these old bones. It's perfectly located in Coyoacán: quiet, residential neighborhood but close to the historic center; has its own hidden treasures (Rojo Watercolor Museum, Casa de Cultura Heroles); yet two blocks from a major commercial street. My wife's family is Mexican so it's important that we aren't tourists in her hometown. This is a perfect fit.
