Summary:
We took advantage of the Covid downtime and spent over $100k making this the nicest unit in the complex. The result is a true 3BR enclosed loft with an actual staircase to the loft no more ladder-like steps to frighten the kids or parents.
Our unit is perfectly located in the hub of downtown Mammoth with easy access to the Red and Green shuttle lines and all the shops, restaurants, bars, theaters, VONS, library, ice rink, etc. Southern views and exposure.
The Space:
A wonderful and spacious 3 bedroom/2.5 bath condo. Tastefully updated with a true "mountain" feel of a classic real wood burning stove that keeps the condo cozy in the winter and the breezes and cool evening temps keep the home perfect in the summer. Having said that, the place is an environmentally-friendly rental-- as such we expect our guests to utilize the fireplace as the primary source of heat while they're in the house and use the heaters as a backup during the winter.
When you enter you take the stairs up to a completely updated living area. The living room, dining room and kitchen are all linked in a flowing space that takes full advantage of the light and views from the balcony. The kitchen has been opened up and we added an island and made the space perfect for meal prep while being able to socialize. We have all that you need to enjoy your stay (Vita-mix blender, coffee pot, Keurig, new pots and pans, etc.).
There is also a Lovesac sofa that can be configured as you need during your visit. Smart TV with a sound bar and subwoofer makes movies a great experience. There is also a full bath on the living room level with all new subway tile and river rock shower with a rain showerhead.
Head up the newly updated staircase to the loft that is completely enclosed. Kids have their own smart TV and room to play (away from the parents). The loft has 2 bunks and a vanity for brushing teeth before bed.
Head downstairs from the living room and you will find 2 bedrooms each with king beds and another full bath equipped with river rock and subway tile (and another rain showerhead).
Guest Access:
You have the run of the place and the complex, including the pool, dry sauna and grill (in the summer) and coin-operated laundry (year-round). The unit has 2 parking permits and parking is a breeze! The home also has a gear locker at the entrance and we have beach chairs and an umbrella (for summer use) and sleds (for winter).
The Neighborhood:
This condo is located in the heart of Old Mammoth on every major bus line. It is walking distance to over 30 restaurants and bars, the only Vons in town, and a bowling alley!
Getting Around:
Bus maps in the condo. Eagle Lodge is just 7 mins away on a bus that runs by the complex every 15 minutes. You can also take another line to either downtown (and the Gondola to Canyon) or all the way to Main Lodge (20 minute bus ride that picks up every 20 minutes).

For stays longer than 30 days, I require a deposit in the amount of one month's rent to be paid offline due 60 days prior to arrival as well as a formal lease agreement.
Despite any stated cancellation policy, I will refund 100% for any cancellations to the extent I am able to re-rent the unit for the dates cancelled. Note that all cancellations on VRBO are subject to a 3% cancellation fee.
This condo HOA has a "no pets" policy for guests and tenants. The only exception to that policy is for emotional support and service animals.
Interaction with Guests:
I am an off-site (San Diego) owner and Superhost manager. There is an on-site manager at complex (available M-F 8am-5pm) and I also have an in-town handyman and cleaner available in case of emergencies.
