About this property

Updated raised ranch, that features an open kitchen and living area with beautiful water views. Our home has been recently updated with new furniture and beds throughout, in addition to new appliances. Dock your boat out back and enjoy short trips to Barnegat Bay and Barnegat Inlet. There is plenty of off street parking to park your trailer during your stay.

The beautiful Barnegat Light beaches are a short drive from our home and historic Viking Village and Barnegat Lighthouse are a short walk or bike ride away. Enjoy a relaxing week of boating, beaches, walking and biking in our home.

3rd Annual Trip

This was my families 3 rd in LBI but first time at this property! The house was great! Location on the lake was perfect for daily paddle boarding! There were 8 of us and the house was perfect! Kitchen was fully equipped which was perfect because we cooked almost every night! The owner was super nice and helpful when I had a few questions regarding things to do in the area! Would totally recommend this property!

Amazing vacation at High Bar Harbor, LBI

Our family spent a truly relaxing week vacationing at the northern end of LBI. If you're looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of Beach Heaven yet enjoy everything LBI has to offer - High Bar Harbor is the place to be. House is extremely clean, kitchen is stocked with everything an avid cook would need. Neighborhood as a whole has a very relaxing vibe. Every morning my wife and I rode our bikes to a Secret Beach to enjoy a peaceful and tranquil walk on the beach. If you're a boating family, don't hesitate to bring your boat and explore everything Barnegat Bay has to offer. Navigation in the bay is pretty simple as channels are very clearly marked. Plenty of space for an empty trailer. Public boat launch is a short drive away on Bayview Ave. Great vacation overall, thank you to a gracious host.

Amazing view and courteous host!

My family and I spent two weeks at this property for a vacation after a year and a half of no vacation due to COVID and it was just what we needed. The home has been recently renovated and is clean and perfect for multiple guests (my husband and I and our toddler took two rooms and my mother-in-law took a third, so we even had one room unoccupied). There are a lot of thoughtful details (plantings on the deck, brand new pots and pans set, a Keurig, some spices in the cabinet), and because the upper deck was gated and the entry to the stairs from the kitchen was easy to block we felt comfortable letting our 2 year old run around without too much supervision. We rented bikes and a bike trailer and were able to get to the beach and to local stores/delis this way (and stored the bikes in the garage). The best feature(s), however, were the amazing view of the water (we saw some killer sunsets!) and also the responsiveness and helpfulness of the host, Rich, who was very much on top of both hims emails and texts. All-in-all it was a great trip and we would (and are planning to!) stay again.
